"No, I'm not, Ashton. I'm saying that she is important to me, and you accusing me of being so low to do it for attention hurts."
I opened my eyes, and sat up.
"Gordon? Is everything okay?" I asked. He was on the phone, looking very angry.
"I gotta go." He said, hanging up and put his sunglasses on.
"What was that?" I asked, rubbing my eyes.
"Nothing. Just me and my friend got in a fight." He said, shaking his head.
"Ashton?" I asked.
"What? Oh, yeah. Sometimes his fame gets to his head."
"That's sad. They didn't really ever seem to be affected by it." I sighed.
My phone buzzed, and it was a notification from Michael.
"@Michael5SOS: very. angry."
"Poor baby." I scoffed, and put my phone on the table.
I guess Ashton must be causing some trouble, to make Gordon and Michael angry.
Then, it hit me.
"Gordon, you know Ashton, right?" I said, walking up to him.
"Yeah, you met him." He laughed.
"Ashton is in 5sos, so if you know him... That means you also know Calum, Luke, and Michael..."
"Well, uh-"
"So..." I said, smiling. "You should like, let me meet them."
"They have a big uh, schedule and they are really busy, so..."
"Long shot." I shrugged, frowning a little.
"You know what? Let's go. Right now." He said, smirking.
"Wait, I need to change-" I said, as he pulled me out of the door.
"No time, let's go!" He said, opening the truck door for me and then closed it.
He jumped in the truck, and started driving.
"We'll be there in about thirty minutes."
"You just randomly know where they are?" I asked. "Why are they even in my town? Literally nobody ever comes here."
"Exactly. Nobody ever comes here, that's why they're here. Privacy." He said.
With every response he was kind of snapping at me. I felt like a complete burden.
I put my earphones in, and leaned against the door. I guess I just need to learn to shut my mouth.
I was silent the entire ride, and by the time I got out of the truck Gordon was already halfway up the steps of a crappy motel staircase.
I ran up the steps to meet him, and he was already in the door. I came through the door, and then I saw Luke, Calum, and Ashton. Ashton didn't look happy, and then Calum noticed me.
"Hey, hey, who's this?" He asked, walking towards me. "A fan? Wanna see me pose?"
He said, and then did this weird pose.
WHAT. IS. EVEN. HAPPENING.
CALUM. HOOD.
"Uh- yeah, uh- hi?" I said, freaking out a little bit.
"This is my friend, Eli." Gordon said, still being angry.
"Hi Eli." Ashton snapped.
"You, me, talk, now." Ashton said, dragging Gordon by the arm outside to his truck.
