My entire world froze. I tried not to panic.
"Eli?"
"Is... Is he okay?" I said, barely audible.
"We know that he isn't in bad condition, he has no broken bones and that he should be fine... We're trying to find out more but they won't let us in yet."
"Was he driving? I sent him a text, what if he tried to respond to it when he was driving?!" I panicked.
"He wasn't driving, he wasn't. He was on a bus, it got hit on Michael's side. There was only a few other people and the driver on the bus. They're fine, just cuts and bruises."
"Please, call me as soon as you know anything more. You know what- FaceTime me, please." I said, chewing my nails.
We hung up and he called for FaceTime immediately after.
"Hi Eli." Ashton waved, and rubbed his eyes.
"Hey." Luke said.
They all looked exhausted anyways, and now stressed.
"For Mr. Clifford?" A girl- a nurse, I assumed called to the boys, and Calum muted himself.
"I'm pretending to hang up with you so we can go in," he whispered.
"Oh, bye Calum! Bye!" I said, going along with it.
He stuffed the phone in his pocket, and I heard a door open.
"Thank God, you're okay." Calum sighed.
"Just a scar on my eyebrow, and some stitches on my leg. Stitches hurt, you know." I heard Michael say, fake sniffing.
"Thank God!" I half-laughed, half-cried.
"Eli?" Michael called.
"Oh, right. She's in my pocket." Calum laughed, taking his phone out of his pocket and giving it to Michael.
"I swear to pizza if you ever scare me like that again I will slap you into next year!" I laughed.
"Okay mom."
"Kinky." Ashton said.
"Don't make me send you daddy fictions."
"No please! My innocent eyes!" He cried.
"Good. Because I don't wanna dig through that nastiness." I laughed.
"Are you okay?" I asked Michael.
"Yeah, the doctor said I can leave as soon as my mom signs the papers."
"Which is now," His mom said, entering the room. "Let's go boys, are you okay to walk hunny?"
"I'm fine mom." He rolled his eyes.
"I'll call you later." I laughed.
"Okay. Bye."
I sighed out of relief. I don't know what I would've done if I lost Michael.
I brought out my laptop and finished editing the last few pictures. Once I was done, I uploaded them to my USB.
Just then, my phone rang.
"Hey Alex." I said, rolling my eyes.
"Hey, would it be okay for me to pick up those pictures now if you're done? I'm really close to your apartment."
Townhouse. But whatever.
"Sure." I said.
I hung up after saying bye, and decided to warm up some leftover pizza.
