It was around 6 or so once we got to Disney and inside the gates, so we had plenty of time since the last fireworks show wasn't until 11.
"Where to first?" I asked Gordon.
"Wherever you want to go." He smiled.
"Hmm. Isn't there a ride in the big ball?" I asked him.
"Yeah, it's like a history ride thing, it's pretty cool. Near the end it brings you through this big space thing and it feels like you're actually floating in space."
"Let's do that first." I smiled.
We waited in line for about 20 minutes, and finally were able to get on.
"Sir, once you're on the ride you'll have to remove your hat and glasses and place them in the bag in your seat." The worker said.
"Oh, okay." He said.
YES.
We walked on in, and Gordon was just scoffing.
"What?" I asked him.
"This ride doesn't even go fast. I'm leaving them on."
"Oh come on." I rolled my eyes.
We got onto the ride, and it was pretty cool. The space part was awesome, but there was also a game type thing on the screen where it takes your picture and decides what your future will be like. Pretty fun.
Gordon didn't take his sunglasses or hat off at all, so, that's cool.
"I have an idea." He smirked.
"What?"
"The Test Track. That is the best ride in all of Epcot, I'm telling you straight up." He said, smiling.
"What is it?" I asked.
"You'll see." He smirked, grabbing my hand and dragging me along with him running.
"Gordon! Slow down!" I laughed.
We finally stopped, and we had reached the ride. There wasn't a long line, but Gordon said if you don't go in now without thinking, there will be a million people lining up to go.
We went through the line quick, and we reached this room where you got to design your own car on the screens, and they gave you cards that saves your car's data on it.
"Did you really just make it Hot Pink?" Gordon sighed.
"Hot Pink with killer speed." I smirked.
"That's it, I'm creating my own and I'm gonna beat your score." He laughed, going to the next screen.
After we were done creating it, we each got into our cars. This time, he really did have to take his hat and sunglasses off.
The car took off into multiple different "tests" that slung you side to side, made you go super fast then stop, and almost hit a tractor trailer. Then, at one point you actually go outside on top of the ride where you enter. It's pretty cool.
At the end, my score beat Gordon's and I was ready to rub it in his face.
Except for, I couldn't find him.
"Gordon?" I called, looking around.
There was nobody but me and the workers in the gift shop, and then I saw Gordon emerge from a crowd outside the door.
"There's really not much left to do in this park so what do you say we go to Hollywood Studios now? We can ride the Tower of Terror." He said quickly, grabbing me along my waist and making me walk with him.
