I leave the dorm in my tux but when I get to the park, there's already someone in the family bathroom. I look around carefully and then head inside the girl's restroom and thankfully no one was in their. Changing into my new dress and carefully folding my tux into my bag, I put my hair extensions and makeup on in front of the mirror just as another girl comes into the bathroom.
We briefly nod to each other but when I am about to pass by her, she does a double take and then stops me. I look back at her hand clasped around my wrist and she unexpectedly asks, "Can I take your picture? You look just like someone."
I fight the urge to roll my eyes, I don't have much time to be socializing with her but I comply anyway. "Jihae, neh?"
"Yeah! I bet you get that a lot," she raises her phone up and comes to smile next to me. I smile too, a bit stiffly since I'm worrying about time but she takes the picture and thanks me before going to take care of her own makeup.
I leave the bathroom and rush to go to the small cafe not far from the SM building that Sumi wanted me to go to with her first. There is where I'm supposed to meet my new manager and get my career properly kicked off before I move out of the EXO dorm. I push open the door and find Sumi sitting with a man in a business suit, his dark hair pushed back and a pair of glasses perched on the tip of his nose as he looked at some papers.
He could be in his mid thirties maybe a bit older, but he was still pretty good looking. He stands up with a smile, removing his glasses to bow and shake my hand when I approach the table in my flustered state.
"Annyoung, you must be the real Kal Jihyun," he speaks as he gestures for me to sit down. I comply and then bow my head.
"Neh. That's me."
"An Kwangsun, your new manager. I'm well aware of your current living conditions as well," he sat as well and handed me a drink, getting right to business. I admired his bluntness but he was still able to make it somewhat formal as well.
"Oh. Then I guess we don't need to explain that part then," Sumi speaks for me before turning her gaze to me. "I'm your assistant and makeup artist until you move out of their dorm but once you move out, you'll have to tell them the truth and then we'll be able to have more people help me out."
"If you're worried about your relationship with them after you do tell them, you can tell me and I'll make sure that we don't accept any work with them so that you can avoid awkward interaction with them as that may affect your career. I hope that things don't have to come to that though," Kwangsun says.
"I hope so too. Leave that to me."
"Once you move out, we'll be able to fully kickstart your career and by that time, we should also be able to release the photos from your photo shoot with Baekhyun. Once you're fully settled, we'll begin your schedule."
"I'm guessing that you'll also be needing my modeling portfolio so that you can start receiving work offers," I nod in understanding.
"Neh. Do you have any recent photos in it?"
"I don't have any from this year but I can take more. I know a place. I also have my work experience inside of it and best shots from each one as well."
"Like a timeline," Sumi comments and Kwangsun smiles.
"That's an interesting idea."
"Well, it used to be just for myself to document all the work I'd done but now I think it also helps prove my work history and it shows how I've grown in the business," I shrug.
"It does have a lot of improvement, there are many expressions and poses in here that not everyone can pull off so well," he nods, flipping through some of the pictures. He stops on one that's smaller than the others and I realize quickly it's not supposed to be there. "This one is very cute, that's Sehun right?"
"Sehun?" Sumi takes the picture from his hands and smiles adoringly at it. "It's so cute! You two must have been super close as children! What's the backstory for this one? Why'd you include this one in there?"
"I didn't, it just managed to slip inside," I take the picture and look down at it with a smile. It's from when Sehun and I were in, maybe, fifth grade? Anyway, we're laying in a field of flowers, holding hands with big smiles on our faces. "I was already modeling by this time and Sehun had wanted to take a picture with me before I became famous because he didn't like that we couldn't spend much time alone together."
"He was jelly," Sumi whispers and Kwangsun looks over at her with a shocked expression before laughing. "Bwoh?"
"Miahnhae, I just wasn't expecting that."
"Oh, gwenchanayo."
"Unni, the time," I whisper and she discreetly checks her watch before nodding.
"Araso, let's move on from the picture and continue, I'm sure Kwangsun has even more work to do now that we're finally getting together," Sumi leans forward with her business smile.

Yeah, so, I haven't updated this story in 179868672341246794 and three quarters years. Sorry? I finally know what I want to do with this but I don't think I'll be able to update super quickly. This month is kind of busy for me because of travel plans and such. But hopefully the waiting won't be disappointing. I also have a new story idea for when I'm done with this book, I won't be really working on that too much until I'm done with this one, don't worry. Once I'm done here, I'll start working on Best Friend's Girl Friend more frequently and the one that I have in my drafts because I want to write something super cute that will no doubt make me cringe once I'm done with it. With that being said,
Tomoyo, out! *crawls away at turtle speed*
