We stood at my doorstep.
"Ok. I think I'm safe enough now."
"Do you need me to check inside? Make sure there isn't one hiding under your bed?" He smiled at me.
"Why are you doing this?" I asked.
"Doing what?"
"Being nice to me. You must have noticed that I have no friends at school. Everyone thinks I'm a try hard."
"I don't think that. I like a girl that knows her shit." I smiled and brushed a piece of black hair behind my ear. "Raven?"
"Yeah?" He paused as if he wanted to say something. He sighed.
"Don't worry, I'll see you tomorrow at school."
"Yeah. Goodbye Sin. See you tomorrow."
If you survive the night, I thought to myself as I watched him leave.
