Chapter 2. Fridays
"I believe that everything has a reason. Each of us has a purpose and consciously or not, we fulfill that purpose. Sometimes, we don't have to know what is the importance of our existence but that would mean living an empty life. God doesn't want us to live a hollow life that's why he makes sure what's our worth sooner or later."

I post on my blog every now and then when I thought of something positive or wonderful. I don't care if no one follows me but I'm secretly hoping that someone who needs a dose of positivity can find it.
I decided to return it to him. Maybe, we could be friends? Hmm... I wonder about that.
"Uhm. Hi! You're Kervin, right?"
Naka ripped jeans at pink V neck shirt ako. "Hindi ka naman mukang mag gigym. What do you need?"
"Well... For this," kinuha ko ang bola sa bag ko at inabot sa kanya.
Kinuha nya agad 'yun. "How'd you find it?" Nakataas ang kilay nya.
"You see... Last monday pa na sakin nya. I got hit by that, you know.it was early in the morning and then... Yun diretso sa pisngi ko. Nagka bruise but it's all okay now... Not that you're asking." I smiled.
"Sa tingin ko ako ang nakasmash nyan. Erm. Sorry. Will you sue me?"
Napatawa naman ako. That is a ridiculous question. Well, sabagay. Hindi na masama magisip ng advance. :)
"Why are you laughing?" He asked, completely clueless.
"Wala. I just thought your question's funny. I will not sue you," I answered.
"Well then, kunin mo na lang yung reward mo kay coach. Thanks pala."
I'm glad I brought it back to you. It seemed important."
Tumango lamang sya. "You are?"
"Erm. Uuwi na rin! Nice meeting you Kervin. See you around!"
"You're unusually happier and late. Why is that baby?"
"Am I? Maybe because it's Friday. Nothing can beat Fridays."
With that, I rested my head on the window.
Tama nga si kuya. I am a little overjoyed. I can't pinpoint the reason, who doesn't want to be happy right? It really is a wonderful life.
