Chapter 10: Funday

When we finally made it to the place, I looked out the window and saw a great place. The place was something similar to 'Jaks Warehouse' but it wasn't Jaks.

Shawn had gotten out of the car already, I didn't notice until he opened my door for me. I had a huge smile on my face, knowing that I am going to have a great time.

Shawn and I started walking to the building. As we were walking, he grabbed my hand. It felt weird at first but I didn't really notice for how excited I was. I was literally pulling him like a little kid.

Shawn's P.O.V.

I grabbed Skyler's hand but it didn't seem to phase her. She had a huge grin on her face. She started to pull me to the entrance like a little 5 year old. We finally made into the building and got in line. We had to coins first and some tickets for certain things. There was an arcade inside, Go Karts outside, and a whole separate building for laser tag.

We got our things, I pulled out my wallet to pay for us, but Skyler had already be me to it. My was suppose to pay, I am the one who invited her. Then Skyler walked away ready to have fun.

"Can I have that money back she just gave you?" I asked the person behind the counter.

"Why?" she replied.

"Because we are on a date and she shouldn't have to pay for it," I say and she nods in agreement and gives the money back.

I grab the coins and tickets, then walk up to Skyler giving her her money back.

"Why did you pay for it if I already gave her the money?" asked Skyler.

"Because you don't offer to take someone somewhere and have them pay," I state.

"Oh," was all Skyler said.

"What should we do first?" I ask changing the subject.

"Can we do go karts first?" she asked.

"Sure what ever you want," I replied.

We went off to go karts and handed the guy our tickets because this was one of the things that needed tickets instead of coins. We walked over to a go kart. I picked a green one and Skyler picked a blue one. Usually other girls I know would have picked pink or purple, but those colors aren't here so they wouldn't have done this at all.

When the light turned to green, we started to go. I was in the front of the line. I started to speed a little, there was someone behind me that I didn't know. I sped up a little more. I turned back to see that Skyler was behind me. She caught up to me fast. There was a curvy part of the track coming up, it was easy peasy for me, but I think Skyler crashed. We got to go around the tracks couple more times.

I got out of my kart and walked over to Skyler.
"I think it is pretty fair to say that I won," I said and laughed a little.

"I crashed so obviously you won," she says with a smile.

Next thing we did was laser tag. Now this is going to be fun. I think we are going to do one on one is we can. I told the guy the one on one, he said that there was only two of us and there was whole line of people so it wouldn't be fair. I didn't argue with him I just nodded my head. We went with a lot of little kids. I was on the blue team and Skyler was on the red.
