My little ray of darkness(Solangelo) (Willco)

Chapter 5

River was in the big house working calmly on his demigod dating website. The Hephaestus cabin found a way to make computers monster proof. When they found out how everyone at camp half blood bought one. Now River was taking full advantage of that. Michael son of Venus was also helping him over there in the Roman side. Currently he was trying to find match for Reyna. That girl needed man to loosen up a little, so he secretly added her.

As River was looking at a hopeful suitor for Reyna, Dakota son of Bacchus, his office door opens. "Sorry the love shack isn't open yet. Come back Monday," River says not looking away from the computer.

"I actually came to talk to you," a familiar voice says. River rolls his eyes and turns to see the tall brown haired, brown eyed Adonis that's been bugging him since he came here. "What do you want Raynyn," River sneers standing up with some papers.

Raynyn smirks, "I just want to play with you."

River laughs as he puts some papers in his cabinet. "Yeah like I'm going to believe that. You just want revenge because I beat you at three of your bets." River smirks. He turns around to smack talk Raynyn and is surprised when he sees how close Raynyn is.

"C'mon just one more bet," Raynyn says as his hand lightly glides River's face. River gulps. "W-what is it.," River asks. Raynyn smirks and leans down. His lips flutter close as he gets closer. 'I can't believe this actually happening' River thinks to himself. Right before Raynyn's lips touch his a thought crosses River's mind. 'This all a bet'.

River puts a leg behind Raynyn and pushes him back causing him to fall back. When Raynyn falls he looks up at River in confusion. "Get out," River whispers not looking at him.

Raynyn stands up and gets closer. "Riv what's goi--."

"I said get out," River screams. Raynyn gets startled at the blue eyed boy's outburst and walks back. River glares up at him with red cheeks. "How many times do I have to tell you? GET OUT." Raynyn sighs and walks out of the room.

As soon as the door closes River lets go the tears that he was holding in. He punches the cabinet before sliding down to the floor.  'How could I be so stupid' he thought. 'Somebody like him could never love somebody like me. It was all a stupid bet it's the only logical answer. Somebody probably bet that he couldn't seduce the loser. Raynyn would never turn down a bet or lose one even if it hurts somebody else. That's how all the Nike kids are. Win no matter what. Ha why would he even want a loser like me. Nobody wants me. Not my biological parents, not my friends, not my peers, nobody. The only people who care about me are Phoenix, daddy, and papa.'

River cries for a couple more minutes. When he's done he gets up and wipes off the tears. He walks to mirror and sees the damage. Not too bad his eyes are just a little red, but that will be okay. He puts his hand in his pocket and pulls out his daddy's ring. The ring is a metal stretchy ring with a metal circular dome or disc thing on top. The metal's color is rose gold and the disc has a heart on it with an engraving that says Te Amo Semper which is latin for, I love you always.

The ring was the last thing his Daddy gave him before he and his papa left for their trip last month. They always go on trips for long periods of time, but this time it felt weird. River couldn't think what, but something was off.

He sighed thinking about them. He wished they were there to give him advice. He missed also them so much. "Te Amo Semper daddy and papa."

Will was walking to the the court to play some basketball with his brothers when he sees Rain walking out of the big house. He looks really mad. Will goes over to calm him down before Rain does something stupid. "Hey man, are you okay?"

"Why does he always do that," Rain asks angrily.

"Do what," Will asks.

"He can't just do that and completely ignore you." Will realized that Rain is more talking to himself than he is to him. He just listens to find out what's going on. "I just want to grab him and ahhhh." He mumbles some more stuff before Will tries to talk again.

"Rain, who are you talking about?"

Rain jumps and looks surprise as if he just barely noticed Will was there. "Oh...um...no one," he says.

"Rain you look mad as Hera. I know something is up and you said something about someone," Will tells him. Rain bites his lip looking away. Probably debating whether to trust Will or not. He finally sighs and starts to talk. "There is this person...that I kind of like," Rain starts.

"Okay tell me about them."

"Well they are funny, smart, really cute. They basically sparked my interest from the first time I saw them. I then made a bet with them and I surprisingly lost. That's when they started to consume my every thought  and they made me feel things towards them, but they completely tried to ignore my existence though. Then I thought we were doing progress, but he completely pushed me away and I don't get why," he rants. One word did catch Will's attention though.

"He," the blonde inquires. His eyes widen at his slip up. He tries to stutter out an explanation before Will raises his hand to shut him up. "It's okay. I'm not going judge or tell anybody."

Rain sighs in relief and smiles at Will. "Thank you," Rain says.

"Yeah and I think I know the root to your problem."

"What problem?"

"The reason the person won't like you back," Will explains. Rain oh's before Will continues, "You aren't showing them you care about them enough. Like just barely for example you basically denied liking a guy. If I were them I would feel like you're ashamed of me."

"But I wouldn't," Rain counters.

"Yeah, but to them it would. You need to show them you care. Plus they probably think it's just a competition or bet. You know how your famous on winning those no matter what," he tells the brown haired boy.

"What about you and Nico," Rain asks smirking. Will's cheeks tint a little pink when he asks that. "What about him?"

Rain rolls his eyes. "Why haven't you asked him out or something? Seriously," Rain tells him.

"We're kind of...complicated," Will answers rubbing the back of his neck. He still didn't know if he liked Nico in that way yet, but it's getting there. He's been thinking about it a lot lately. On paper it made no sense, a son of Hades dating a son of Apollo made no sense, but then why did his heart always speed up when he sees him, or why does he love that blush he made so much, or why he wanted to kiss him so badly when they were laying in the hospital bed?

"Mhm. Whatever you say," Rain tells him bringing Will out of thought. "just remember logic and reason go out the window when love gets involve." Rain tells him goodbye before running who knows where leaving Will to think. If logic and reason do get thrown out the window when love gets involved then that would make so much sense in his situation. Though that would also make him have to ask a certain question he wasn't even sure of too.

Did he love Nico?
