Chapter 2

Nico was starting regret not listening to Will. Not because he felt sick or anything, but because River was so annoying. He kept on asking question after question after question. The son of Hades would stay quiet thinking he would get the hint and shut up, but it never happened, he would just start asking other questions till Nico answered some. Nico thought that he would act like all the others at camp, but no River instead acted like a child.

"Hey guys," he heard Annabeth say from behind. They all turned and saw her and Percy together holding hands. Nico thought he would feel, sad, anger, or jealousy from that, but instead he felt almost nothing. He did feel jealous and sad though that they had somebody while Nico would always alone. Forever alone.

"Hey. We want to introduce you guys to knew campers. This is River and Phoenix Holiday," Will gestures to the brothers. "And this is Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase."

"It's nice to meet you Bethy and PJ," River greets.

"My name is Annabeth not Bethy and he is Percy," Annabeth says angrily. Phoenix snorts. "Have fun trying to make him call you that. He likes to give others nicknames," he says.

Will frowns. "But he calls you Phoenix." "Well actually my parents were planning on me going by Drew from Andrew, but River here kept calling me Phoenix and everybody assumed that was my name and I was okay with it and let it happened."

"Really?" Everybody asks.

"Yeah, same with him. His name is October and he was going to go by Toby, but he didn't want that, so he told people his middle name instead," Phoenix tells us.

"Yep. And now Bethy tell me. How do you get a boyfriend like PJ," River asks. Annabeth glares and ignores him.

"Well it's nice to meet you Drew. Do you have any idea what your godly parent is," Annabeth asks. River glared at her when she said Drew.

"No, we're adopted. The adoption agency don't know if it was a mom or dad who left us or died," Phoenix says.

"Bethy look at me. Bethy answer me. Bethy stop calling him Drew," River said trying to catch Annabeth attention. Nico saw Annabeth smirk. He knew she was only doing this to annoy River.

"Well I hope you find out soon. See you later Will, Nico, Drew, and...Toby," she walked away with Percy.

"Who are their parents anyway," River asks.

"Percy's dad is Poseidon and Annabeth's mom is Athena," Will answers.

"Isn't there a city is Greece named Athena?"

"The city is named Athens, which was named after Athena," Nico tells him.

"Thank you Nicky."

"Now where are we going," Phoenix asks.

"Well I think it's time for lunch," Will says. Nico groaned. He hated going there. He was the only Hades kid and with Hazel gone he would be sitting by himself.

"You guys should join us at the Hades Table," Will says. Nico frowns. "What do you mean us? When did I invite you to sit at the Hades table," Nico asks raising his eyebrow. He assumed Will would sit with his brothers and sisters. The Apollo, Aphrodite, and Nike kids were always the popular ones at camp. Why would Will sit with him Nico thought.

"I'm your doctor remember? I am not leaving your side," he tells Nico. Nico tries to hide a smile by biting his lip.

"Okay, it's settled. Phoenix and I will meet you two at the cafeteria. Come on Phoenix," River says and then runs to the cafeteria. His brother laughs and turns to us. "Sorry about my brother. He is just really hyper. He has ADHD," Phoenix tells us.
