So let me tell you about my self well the self before I came here

my name is Sassy LaShay Smith I am 17 years old will be 18 in four month's

I was brought her 9 years ago and have been living in hell since they don't give a dame about us ok I'm getting off topic

I was brought here after my parents Dominick and Sasha Smith were murdered by my Uncle Reggie apparently how the story goes my Uncle had a huge crush on my mama from grade shcool to high school but my dad had already won her heart a long time ago

my Uncle was a very jealous man watching them looking at what he wanted and couldn't have but he sat back in the shadows plotting I suppose until oneday he snapped when he found out my mama was having another child it would have been my little brother I remember like this was yesterday

Mama was knitting little bootys for my soon to be brother

my daddy was watching the news it was something about a man being with a woman for 50 years and them both dieing at the same time yes my memory is this good how could I forget that night where you lose two of the most important people in your life

I was on the floor playing with my dolls that daddy had brought home for me I was so excited mama usually made my dolls but daddy bought me two new babydolls when he got off work

Thump,Thump,Thump at the door

Daddy got up to open the door it was Uncle Reggie standing with a cake in hand smiling I felt his smile was off now that I think back

Hello Reggie how are you came from mama with a smile on her face she had a smile that made anybody stop what they were doing and smiled back

Im good I brought cake I know how much you all love chocolate In this household it can be dessert after dinner well if y'all dont mind me staying for dinner

But he seemed nervous about something

Oh nonsense you know your always welcomed im waiting for the roast to finish now take a seat it wont be that long

I ran to my Uncle and gave him a hug

I'm good where's Auntie Lisa?

He paused and made a hard face before returning his smile but it didnt quite meet his eyes

Oh she wasn't feeling well I told her I would bring her a plate to she if she could keep it down I think she has a stomach virus

I ran back to where I was playing when daddy and uncle Reggie started talking about work and sports things a 9 yr old does not want to hear

Alright everyone dinner is ready

We all got up washed our hands sat down said grace and enjoyed our food after dinner we had some cake I had vanilla ice cream with mine it was my favorite

Mama and daddy are having a baby im going to have a little brother I said with a wide grin on my face

But Uncle Reggie didn't seem all that happy he just said oh yea that's nice sweetie but he had a cold look in his eyes that I wouldn't know about or understand either

Ok Sas go on up and get ready to take a bath I'll be up in a minute

I did the same to Uncle Reggie then I was off I got my clothes rag towel and soap and waited for mama by the bathtub

Alright you ready little one she helped me in the tub where she washed me then we got to play with my bath toys until the water ran cold I got out mama dryed me and I dressed myself got in bed mama tucked me in with a goodnight kiss yo my forehead that was the last time I seen my beautiful mother without the sorrow or despair in her eyes
