Realization With Threats

Chapter 10

As Damon and Elena sat there Damon pulled away suddenly. When Elena felt this she wondered why. And then she saw it. Damon got up and went into the little hallway they were in before. Well he did'nt get up. He more like speed ran over there.

She had to remind herself that he was a vampire with super speed.She wondered what was happening. What was he doing, Elena thought to herself? But her thoughts got cut off by the sound of a girl gasping for air. It was Makenzie. Elena could'nt believe that Makenzie- Damon's sister- was listening to their conversation. As Elena walked to see if Damon was okay, she saw him. Damon had Makenzie by the throat pinned up against the wall. He was staring into her eyes and saying something to her. This part Elena could'nt hear. It was almost a whisper.

But just before Damon droped Makenzie to the floor she heard his last words. These were,"you WILL NOT hurt her. Do you understand? And if you do...", Damon said pausing, " if you do I will make sure your new best friend will be Primrose!" Then he droped her.

Elena could'nt believe what just happened. Did Damon just threaten his own family with Primrose? Like saying he would kill her? But then again Primrose does'nt kill it just weakens. Right? Or does it? Darn I can't remember. Anyways, she also thought to herself did Damon say he loved me?

As Makenzie walked away- more like speed walked- she left Elena and Damon alone. "So Damon", Elena said, "you love me?", Elena said this half smiling. "Yeah. Yeah, I do. Elena I want to know something.", Damon said. "Damon I love you too. And what?", Elena said. "Will you be my girlfriend?", Damon said without hesitation. Elena did'nt feel like she had to think about the answer to his question. Ever since Mr. Ponzio told her history class about the assignment that was due at the end of the qarter Elena started having stronger feelings toward Damon.

"Yes. And there is something I need to ask you too. ", Elena said. "Yes?", Damon said curiosly. "How did you become a vampire? ", Elena asked. "That is a very long story Elena. The sun is setting. Will you be okay if I tell you that tomorrow?", Damon said. "Yes that is fine.", Elena replyed. And with that she left.

Later that night when Elena got home she new her life would'nt be the same. She was a Guardian. Her BOYFRIEND was a vampire. And Elena was a Guardian. That would kill vampires. Elena would never hurt Damon she new that.
