To Much Knowledge Can Be Dangerous

Chapter 14

     Hearing these words made Elena feel cold inside. Like there was a huge hole in her body but it wasn't a bad hole it was a good one. Because she knew that she had vampire blood in her. But how was that even possible? Her mother was not a vampire and her father wasn't either.

     "Elena, it all makes sense now!"

     "How?"

     "Remember when I was talking to you this morning and you turned around super quick? Well Elena that was a sign that your becoming a vampire. All the dreams you have been having. Everything it all makes sense now.",Damon said.

     "But how did this happen to me? I mean I don't have anyone in my family who is a vampire.", Elena said.

     "Elena I think I know how it happened.Do you remember me telling you about The Guardians? And The Counsel?",Damon replied back.

     "Yes how could I not!", Elena said loudly. 

"Well, Elena, when a Guardian starts to hear and learn about the vampire way there destiny will either take them on a course that is deathful for the want and pure evil of killing my kind. See because their eyes are now open to different paths their mind will want to choose it's own destiny. Basically, if I never told you about anything you'd stat to transform into a Guardian. But because I opened your mind up it will begin a different course with wanting to not hurt us and wanting your body to become a vampire.", Damon replied.

     "Well how do I know my true path? , Elena said.

     "See that's the problem Elena you don't know till you make your first kill.", Damon said.

When Elena heard this her stomach dropped. Kind of like if you were on one if the roller coasters that went super high and then just dropped right then and there. She'd have to kill a vampire or a Guardian. HER Elena Genevieve! I mean why did this happen to me she thought? Why do I have to kill somebody? Why do I have to find my own path? Why do I have to choose between life and death? The ones I love and the ones I want to kill?

The only thing Elena knew was...
