Onyx

I walk through the campgrounds once more that I've grown to love. As I look to the heart of the camp, I can recall images of the group and I sitting on logs whilst eating delicious, gooey marshmallows over a fire. The peculiar scent of sweetness and burnt wood mix in the air, a scent that I've become accustomed to.
This has become my second home over the years. I've came here every summer for eight years. The memories are fill with warmth, laughter, and so much joy. I get nostalgic every time I leave this place.

Until next time, I whisper to the wind.

The car ride back home is a long and sad one. The memories are stuck on replay. All of my friends. Hope, Zall, Carrie, Mai.

Storm

The boy I've come to love.

It's just a stupid crush, I try to convince myself.
But it's much more
