Mace, the cheer captain, wastes my time by telling me things that she thought was "funny".
Not wanting to be rude, I laugh along with her.

Then Onyx comes into my mind. I wonder if I could make her smile...

I have an itching feeling to turn around and simply say something to her.

Don't turn around. She'll ruin your reputation.

But is it worth it? Being someone I'm not?
I'm not happy anymore.

Populars are supposed to date other populars. Not a newbie.

But I don't want to date a popular. Populars are overrated.

I want Onyx

But she probably doesn't feel the same way.

So I ignore the itchy feeling to turn around, quickly regretting it.

The bell rings.
Mace, and the guys are the first out of the class.

Is this my opportunity?

Then Chase comes out of nowhere,  grabs my shoulders and push me out of the room.

"Come on Storm, let's go off campus for lunch".

Even though it's against the rules, I follow.

Life can be pretty messed up at times.

I bet life would be more enjoyable  with her around...
