ch.4 the calm before the storm

[A/N sorry it's just a filler chapter but ill try to update within this week :) ]

His smile was infectious, and I couldn't help but smile back at him. I held up the bag of lunch "I brought food!!"

"Aaah yay thanks! I was getting hungry," BI replied. "Did you walk here??"

"Yeah!"

"Wasn't it hot?? You should've texted me so I could tell manager hyung to pick you up!"

"I don't have your number!!" And it's all good I like walking. What are you working on?"

"Let me give it to you!" After exchanging phone numbers, he sighed,"Hopefully a song for our debut."

"OOH can I hear it?" From what I saw on M&M, BI was one seriously talented guy.

He laughed at my enthusiasm. "I don't have much yet! When I finish, I promise to show it to you."

"Okay! But why are you alone; where's everybody else?" I questioned.

"The vocal line is at a singing lesson, and.." he broke into a huge grin before continuing. "I think Kimbap is out talking to Jisoo. MY MAN!" He yelped excitedly. BI's happiness for his brother was undeniable, but for some reason, I felt a hammering pang in my chest.

----flashback to this morning---
"You know I haven't talked to a girl my age in a while? I'm always around those iKon punks, this feels nice."

"So I should feel special?" I smirked, raising my eyebrow at him.

"You know it," he said with a wink.

My face showed indifference, and i put light, jestering tones in my voice. I was an actress after all.

"Ooh, Bobby's got a girlfriend?" I asked, raising one eyebrow.

BI giggled like a schoolchild, giddy. "Not yet!!" I was saved from a reply when the door loudly opened and 5 boys strided in, loudly talking about how hard & tiring that vocal lesson was. I sent an encouraging smile in their direction and patted the floor beside me. "Come eat!"

Chanwoo: "yay, noona's here!"
Yunhyeong: "Thank you, Hee Eun!"
Junhoe: short smile before digging in.
Jinhwan: "Mmm, mashidda" (Yummy).
Donghyuk:"yeah, this is so good!"

After a few minutes of silent, content eating, Bobby opened the door in, his face visibly bright and whistling. He didn't even look in my direction. The boys rowdily teased Bobby's long encounter with the girl trainee, and although it kind of hurt a bit, it was a cute sight to watch. I knew I had no reason to feel hurt, but I did, and I couldn't help but have the urge to leave. I stood up, and said,"I'm going to use the restroom real quick, be right back." This is when Bobby said,"Do you want me to help you find it?" Oh, so now he was noticing that I was here, AFTER massacring the food I had packed for him? "No, it's fine." I snapped, then at the surprised look on the boy's faces, I quickly explained,"I saw it on the way here," before quickly walking out. Talk about awkward... And I seriously didn't know where to find the restroom. Even if it was just an excuse to leave, I still wanted to wash my face. Should i text Hanbin to save me? I didn't even know how to get back to their practice room, what kind of a training center was this big? YG Entertainment must be loaded, I thought. "Are you looking for someone?" I heard a deep voice behind me, and turned around to see a unwelcome familiar face.
