Kirstie's POV
Once the party ended, the only people that were left were me, Avi, Kevin, Esther, Mitch, Scott, and Genevieve."Tonight was fun," Scott said as we sat down in a circle. Mitch got up to go grab something but returned quickly. He sat down next to me and caught me staring. He winked at me and I found myself blushing. Thank goodness no one saw that.
"How about we continue the party games?" Mitch suggested. Everyone agreed. "Let's play seven minutes in heaven," shit. If this is his payback I'm not ready for this. Mitch spun the bottle and go figure, it landed on me. We both got up and headed to the bedroom. Mitch closed the door as I sat down.
"You did this on purpose didn't you?" I said suspiciously. He nodded.
"Kirstie," he started sitting down next to me, "I realized that after that night, that maybe I like you." He can't be serious.
"R-really?" I said as butterflies filled my stomach. He nodded, looked away, and bit his lip. I turned his chin to so he could look at me again. "I feel exactly the same way," we than kissed and couldn't stop after that. It wasn't full of lust or hunger. We just both never wanted it to stop. Soon I heard the timer and we quickly got up before anyone could catch us. As we opened the door Mitch whispered in my ear.
"I love you Kirstie," before we joined the group. Everyone had their eyes on us.
"Don't play stupid," Scott said, "we all heard the kissing," Kirstie and I both blushed.
Mitch's POV
"I told you something was up," Esther called making everyone laugh including Kirstie and I. Once the night was over and everyone was leaving, Kirstie walked up to me and kissed me. We kissed for awhile until I heard a door open."Umm love birds," Scott said awkwardly, "I hate to break this up, but Mitch you're my only ride home." We all laughed and Scott and I left.
"How?" Scott asked as we drove, "how did this happen?" I shrugged. I should probably tell him.
"Kirstie and I played seven minutes in heaven a few nights ago and I developed feelings for her." Scott looked at me shocked.
"And how did I not find out about this," he said raising an eyebrow at me. I rolled my eyes and smiled.
"I'll put it this way for you," I said sassily, "you're nosy and in situations like these, I want you out of my shit," Scott giggled.
"I guess you're right," he said as we pulled up to his house, " bye Mitchy!" He yelled as he reached the top of his driveway. I waved back and drove off to my house. When I arrived home my parents were standing by the doorway waiting for me.
"Come in Mitch," they said sharply. I followed and sat down next to them on the couch confused.
"What did I do?" I asked. They both shook their heads.
"Mitch, we got a call from the school saying your grades are not so well," I gulped. I swear they're fine. I sat there more confused.
"How? I've been working my ass off since the first day," They both shrugged.
"Well than you're not working your ass off hard enough," my dad stated, "so from now on no more parties, no more hang outs, and no more trips," I groaned and got up.
"Fine. Good night," I said as cheerful as I could. I an went up to my room and fell asleep.
