Kirstie's POV
"I still don't understand," my daughter Ally said looking at me confused, "you and dad used to be... Enemies?" I laughed and nodded my head."Yes it is pretty amazing how fast things can change." Especially with two good games of Seven Minutes in Heaven... But I won't tell her that.
"Do you think that will happen with me and my boy enemies?" She asked with all seriousness. I shrugged and Ruffles her hair. It depends how many games of SMH you play. But again I can't tell her that.
"Well I think I've always loved your dad, I just loved him so much that I thought it was hatred." Ally giggled and shook her head. "But don't get the wrong idea," I said sternly, "I don't want you thinking that everyone you think you hate, you actually love." She nodded and giggled. Soon I saw Mitch walk into the room and I smirked.
"What's going on in here?" He asked smirking. I laughed and smiled at him.
"She wanted me to tell her in full detail how we met and how we fell in love." Mitch gave me wide eyes and I knew what he was thinking. "Ally can you go for a second?" I asked the young girl. She nodded and ran out of the room.
"You didn't tell her in full detail did you?" He asked laughing lightly. I shook my head.
"When she's older I will teach her how to properly play seven minutes in heaven, but for now she's way too young to know that stuff." Mitch nodded his head and hugged me from behind.
"How come I heard you say that you loved me the entire time? Got anything to confess Kirstin?" He said bringing back memories. I giggled and smirked.
"Maybe we both loved each other the whole time Mitchell," I started turning around, "we just needed a few party games to realize it." We both laughed and he brought me into a kiss.
"Who knew a few games could make our relationship go this far?" He said making the both of us giggle. We than released as we both heard the tiny steps of little feet pitter pattering across the wooden floor.
"Mom? Dad?" Ally said annoyed, "there's this annoying boy who keeps calling me by my full name and I need you to talk to him," Mitch and I both looked at each other and grinned. Let the cycle keep on going. Mitch and I turned back to Ally and Mitch kneeled down in front of her.
"Ally listen to me," Mitch said making ally look him in the eye, "you keep on hating him. Call him by his full name, hit him hard in the arm. Do whatever you want to make him feel bad. But just remember, anything can happen." Mitch looked up at me and smiled. Ally looked between us confused. Her eyes than widened and she ran away screaming.
"I think you have her the wrong idea," I laughed looking at where she once stood. Mitch chuckled.
"She had to know at some point. Plus the same thing could happen to her one day." Mitch shrugged wrapping his arms around me. I smiled and shook my head.
"Please just let her figure that out on her own," I pleaded causing us to both erupt with laughter. I then went to where Ally and the boy were playing and I found Ally teasing him about some girl she thought he liked.
"I swear they're like little versions of you and I," Mitch said looking out the window as well. I smiled and nodded my head.
"It brings back a lot of nostalgic moments though," I said as Mitch rested his arm on my shoulder. I rested my head on his shoulder and we watched our little girl make some friends on the tiny play ground. "You know," I said making Mitch face me, "now that I've told her everything, I think she's going to take that as a life lesson and not do the things we did as teenagers." Mitch nodded and kissed my head.
"Yeah and I'm going to make sure we never move so she can stay with her future boyfriend forever," I laughed lightly. This was the life I'd been dreaming of. And I wouldn't have it any other way.
