Tyler;

I had gone home to Michigan for a few days to visit family and on the plane journey up there, I was DMing on Twitter with Troye. It started out the way all mine & Troye's conversations did but soon we were in what seemed like a really deep conversation about life, love, philosophy, all sorts. Troye was very easy to talk to like that, he was so grown up for his age, such a wise head on young shoulders. It made me very proud to be his friend.

I suddenly thought about confessing my secret to Troye and then I thought again. I panicked, but then once I thought about it, I asked myself the question "Why not?" and I honestly couldn't think of a reason. I trusted Troye, trusted him more than anyone and it made sense to tell him. I knew that if I didn't tell someone, I would end up blurting it out to someone else.

"Troye, can I tell you something?"

"Of course Ty, you know you can talk to me about anything. What's up?"

"I've been keeping a secret. I'm not sure how to say this without sounding totally corny but, I like someone"

"aw Tyler that's cute. You mean like a crush, or is it really serious?"

"I think it started out as a crush, but my feelings have definitely become more intense over time. What do I do Troye? :("

"Who is it? Is it another youtuber?"

"It is"

"Do you wanna tell me who it is? I mean, I kind of have a feeling that I already know, but still..."

"You promise you won't tell anyone?"

"I promise Tyler. You can trust me"

"I know Troye, I know I can. I do, and that's why I'm telling you this.

It's Connor"

"I thought so. I don't blame you Ty. Connor is exactly your type, I'm surprised you didn't admit it sooner ;)"

"Did you really know? Is it that obvious? Do you think Connor knows?"

"I had a feeling. I mean the way you 2 look at each other is butterflies in the stomach worthy. It's cute!"

"haha. Wait, Connor doesn't look at me like that. Don't mock my pain here Troye" I joked

"He does Ty, you just don't notice. And I didn't want to mention it, just in case"

"When??"

I suddenly felt very nervous as I waited for Troye's reply. All he sent was a picture he had taken of me from months ago at VidCon, I had never seen it before, I didn't even remember him taking it. But in that picture, I saw Connor, standing not far behind me, his head was cocked slightly to the side, looking at me, a sweet, loving smile on his face. I didn't know what to think, I didn't know what to feel. I didn't know if this was really any solid proof that he liked me too, or if it was just Connor being his usual cute self. I was studying the picture for a while, a little too long if I'm being honest, and Troye DM'd me again;

"See what I mean. The way he's looking at you Ty, it's cute!!"

"Connor is always cute, Troye"

"aw Tyler. You've made my day telling me this. I'm so happy for the 2 of you!! :)"

"woah woah slow down Troye, it's not like we're getting married lol"

"I know this sounds really cheesy, but do you want me to talk to him for you? See what I can find out"

"I don't know Troye. I don't want him to get suspicious or figure something out"

"I'll be subtle, I promise"

"Okay, I mean if you want to you can. But I'm not gonna get my hopes up"

"Don't worry mate. Trust me, it'll be fine. I'm glad you told me Tyler. Truly, I'm honoured. I love you man <3"

"I am gonna tell Connor at some point. I just need to find the right time. I love you too man, thank you <3"

"I'll FaceTime with you later when you get to your Mum's place, yeah?"

"Sure thing babe, I'll talk to you later. Thank you again, for being such a good friend x"

Talking to Troye about Connor, letting him know my secret was like a huge weight off my shoulders, I wanted to hug him so badly and talk to him in person about how I was feeling, but obviously I couldn't, Sometimes having a best friend that lived half way across the world sucked!! Luckily, I would be seeing him next week when we visited the UK, which I was really looking forward to, but it would be difficult to talk with Connor being there too.

I decided to try and sleep for the rest of the flight, but as always, my mind wouldn't let me.
