I thought about getting up out of bed and getting dressed and then I thought again. I scrolled through Twitter on my phone and waited for Connor to arrive. When he did, I got up, threw on a shirt and answered the door. Connor walked in and greeted me with a kiss, his hand slowly gliding onto my hip.

"Hey you tease, you told me you were naked" Connor giggled and winked.

"Actually, I think you'll find I said 'half' naked" I replied and smiled.

I spun around on my heels to guide Connor into my apartment and he slid his arms around my waist and joined his hands together in front of my stomach. I giggled and leant my head back slightly against him, placing my hands onto his and smiling all the way to the living room.

We slouched onto the sofa and talked for hours. We went backwards and forwards on the 'announcement' issue and we decided the simplest thing to do would be to make a video. It made perfect sense... It wasn't something we wanted to hide, we just needed to work out how to say it.

"Why don't we just film it here, right now?" Connor asked

I felt nervous, but I didn't know why. My subscribers would be over the moon and of course there would be some haters out there, but that didn't bother me... I could handle the haters. I worried for Connor though, I didn't want any horrible comments to knock his confidence or make him question himself or how he felt. I was so protective of Connor already; I just didn't want to see him get hurt. I wanted to wrap him up and protect him from the rest of the world as much as I could... But that wouldn't be fair to him.

I pulled in a deep breath and smiled. Connor took my hand.

"Let's do it" I said nervously smiling.

"Who's channel do we upload it to?" he asked.

"I think your channel babe" I exclaimed

We sat down to film the video. Nervous still. We were holding hands below the camera shot.

The filming went really smoothly and we made it light hearted and fun... but we didn't want people thinking this was some kind of joke. We were in love for years... We'd just only been together a week.

When the video was finished and edited, we uploaded it straight away. We decided on a simple title of "We need to tell you something" and the seconds after the video was uploaded felt like hours while we waited for the first comment, or tweet or text message.

All of a sudden we were flooded with 'Congratulations' 'OMGs' and "Awwwwwwwws" tweets, texts and emails. It took hours to read through them all, but the response was so happy and positive. It really set our minds at ease.
