I was so excited to be going on vacation. And to be seeing Connor, Troye, Zoe, Alife, Joe, Jim, Tanya, Caspar, Louise, Marcus, Naomi, Louis, all of them. I missed all my friends so much sometimes, it was unbearable. I imagined what it would be like to be hanging out with all of them and also being 'with' Connor. I could imagine going on double dates with Zoe & Alfie, or Jim & Tanya, and I smiled, while looking out the airplane window and then sighed a sad sigh, realizing that there was almost a 0% chance of that ever happening.

Getting to the airport lounge and seeing Connor sat there waiting for me was like something out of a romantic movie. I decided, right there and then, in that second, that I was going to tell Connor this week about my feelings, I just had to find the right time. Maybe later tonight, when we got to Zalfie's and we could talk properly (and hopefully in private)

When we got to Zalfie's house later on that day, we were all jet lagged and tired and I could hear Zoe chuckling at us as we sat there In a row on her couch, trying not to fall asleep. "Heyyy" she squealed, "Come on guys, let's go get some food and then you lazy boys can come home and sleep" she giggled. Food sounded good and I loved how Zoe always let us think of her house as 'home'.

It was just at that point in the evening when it starts to turn to dusk and the cold air was really setting in. And as all of us were walking down the street to the restaurant, we subconsciously squeezed in closer to each other for warmth, and I was so happy at that moment that I was stood next to Connor. We smiled and winced a little against the cold wind. After a while, we ended up linking arms and even though there was no skin to skin contact, it still warmed me from the inside out. When we sat down in the restaurant, Connor and I were sat opposite each other and I could feel his toes just brushing gently on mine. We ordered the same food, the same drinks, and I could feel just a little bit of flirting going on between the 2 of us.

It took everything in my power to stop myself from blurting out "I love you Connor!"

But I resisted and I just smiled at him. "What up handsome?" Connor said and I just laughed "Tell ya later" I said and winked. He probably thought there was nothing to it, but it was fun for me to just pretend a little.
