"Weird." She mumbled. "Aren't they always ," I rolled my eyes as I giggled. "No, not that. They just seemed different. Ryan was gone and well they looked at us weird." "Oh, I really don't look at them." I stared at my shoes that already looked scuffed. "Hmm." Her eyes drifted to the wall. We changed the subject and continued talking. We had four classes together, we will survive the first day at least. Just hope we don't have classes with the 'fuckboys'. First period, ok, second period was fun (I had that with Peyton) third period, ugh. That was the worst class of the day. Never mind that, the worst class of all time. They were all there, even Ryan. I tried my best to ignore the whispers and snickering sounds behind me. After the bell rang, for lunch, or tried my best getting out asap. Not knowing, though, that they'd do the same. I ran to the door, and all three of them came dashing along. I tried opening the door but they wouldn't let me through. "Excuse me." I said sharply. "Slow poke." They teased. "Shut up." I said as I marched out. "Who are you even?" He said, violently chewing his old gum. "Your. So stupid." I rolled my eyes, and tried my best to get to the cafeteria. Surprisingly when I got there, the trio was no where to be found. Of course, like the girl code says, I told Peyton. Details in all. "Know what? They are stu-" she got interrupted when the doors flew open and they all walked in. Tough-guy faces on. Aka the stupid faces. The room fell dead silent. All you heard was the sound of their shoes, walking to their table. They never ate anything anyways. Sean glanced ate me and shifted his gum, his jaw tensed and he looked away. I pursed my lips and turned back to Peyton. "What was that?" She asked after the silence was gone. "What was what?" I asked slowly. "That thing." "What thing? There was no thing?" I ate another bite of my salad. "There was defiantly a thing." She smirked. "Dont be stupid Peyton." I punched her in the shoulder. I turned back to get a quick glance at them, on an different note, there was probably a million pieces of gum under that table. Ring. Next class here we come.
