"What?"

"Do you have gum?" Peyton said slowly.

"Oh um no." I lied.
"Why would you want gum?" I emphasized 'you' to make my point.

"No reason." I have no idea why Peyton asked that random question.
She has been hanging out with Sean a lot. I hate to think about this. And of know it deep down inside me. I couldn't admit it yet.

But I think Sean's asshole, popular, wild self is rubbing off on her. I guess old was hanging out with Ryan a lot more now.

He had surprised me, not so well, by sneaking up on me when I was about to turn on the lights to the library to study.
He argued that ' it will be fun' and 'you will have a great time'.

I stupidly agreed to meet him after school.

Which was right about... 'Ring'...now.

I bounced out of my green, uneven seat and hoped that if I ran fast enough, he wouldn't catch me.

Now, I know, that he plays basketball and has probably more training in fitness than a girl who took dance twice and played the flute for a year.

While I shoved my things into my backpack I couldn't keep my mind off of Ryan.
Where in the world would he take me?

I turned around, ready to dash home, but I found myself stuck.

Ryan stood right in front of me, blocking my next move.

Shit shit shit,I thought.

"Got ya." He smirked, slyly wrapping his arms around my waist.

"Shut up." I resorted, pushing his arms away, giving in that I'd be going wherever the hell this dude was taking me.
Ugh.
