I whipped my head around to my left, and saw the long table had gathered up with boys again, and noticed that only Pan was missing. James was waving at me from where our group had sat that morning, and just like that morning, nothing sat in front of my boys to eat. I looked around as I walked over and noticed that it was much later in the afternoon, maybe an 45 minutes or so until the golden hour, then dusk. I had slept the whole day away! I arrived at the table and sat down between James and Pip.

"So what happened? Did he hurt you?" James asked as I sat down, looking me over with a worried expression. I rolled my eyes at his protectiveness, and smiled at him in reassurance.

"No, he yelled at me some, and scared the crap outta me a couple times, but he didn't hurt me." I told him, and Sam and Dean who were listening in. Pip was munching down on some blueberries and what looked like scraps of a small bird when he looked up at me in disbelief.

"No way! Pan is never that nice, and you broke like the biggest rule ever! Most of the boys were surprised he didn't kill you on the spot." He halfway accused, like it was somehow my fault for disrupting the natural order of things.

"Well, he did promise safety to me and my boys, but he did say there was a punishment of some kind." I told Pip, who shrugged at my statement and went back to eating blueberries.

"I'm happy he didn't hurt you, maybe he'll just make you clean the fire pits or something. Hey, can you do the thing?" He suddenly asked, his eyes lighting up. I looked over Pip's head to Sam for help as to what 'the thing' was. Sam made a vague, I dunno sound, which was actually a very good imitation of a confused moosling. I looked back to Pip.

"What do you mean sweetheart?" I asked politely. Pip waved a blueberry around as he spoke.

"You know, where you make food come out of nowhere. Can you still do that, or was Pan helping you the first time?" He asked impatiently. I had a sneaking suspicion that this question was given to him by the other boys, because I knew Pip already believed that I could do it. I shrugged anyway and slid a protesting Pip's bowl of blueberries, all the meat eaten, about an arms length in front of me where everyone could see. Then, having the attention of the table, I deliberately waved my hand over it, replacing the bowl of wild blueberries with a large slice of fresh blueberry pie a la mode. The wide eyes of all the boys before they burst into whispers amongst themselves was very satisfying as I slid the bowl, and newly created spoon, back towards Pip, who was stuck on repeat with the track 'thank you!'. That is, until he was too busy eating to talk.

"Answer your question?" I asked Pip. He nodded enthusiastically, ice cream smeared on the right side of his face. Without thought, I made a wet napkin appear and gently wiped Pip's face, making him pause in his eating. He turned his face up on reflex when I did this, making me think him even more cute at the childish action.

"Thanks mom." He said in a way that I knew it was an automatic response. Since he probably didn't even know he'd said it, I let it go. Dean got my attention by glaring a freakin hole in my head and then mouthed 'Attached' and pointed to Pip. I stuck my tounge out at him.

"So what do the rest of you want?" I asked my boys, assuming they had skipped lunch because of my absence and were starving.

"Thought you'd never ask!" Dean said in an exasperated voice. "Triple bacon cheeseburger and steak fries and a beer."

I frowned slightly at how he asked me and deliberately turned my gaze to Sam. I raised an eyebrow at him and he got the idea.

"May I have a personal Greek style thin crust pizza with grilled chicken on it and extra spinach?" He asked politely. I smiled.

"Sure Sam." And I made what he wanted, but I messed up the proportions a little bit, making it a full sized instead of a personal pan. I shrugged, figured he's a big boy and can handle it, and passed it to him as well as a glass of water. He didn't complain. Dean looked a little annoyed. I turned again. "James?"

"Um," he stalled contemplating. "Can you give me that Taco Bake, y'know, the casserole with crescent rolls on the bottom and top and taco meat and cheese and stuff in between? Please?" He asked, and I remembered that was one of his favorite things that I'd ever came up with in the kitchen. I smiled to myself as I made it, thank you Pintrest. It was a good plateful and I went ahead and assumed he wanted milk with it, he usually drank milk with his supper. Without even glancing in Dean's direction I made myself some fresh chicken tenders and fries with a side of honey mustard and a Coca-Cola. We went ahead and started eating, Pip being half way don't with his dessert, and I glanced to find Dean embarrassed and mad. I stared at him and waited. He became very interested in the table.

"Please." He muttered under his breath. I swallowed my mouth full of french fry and put a hand to my ear.

"What was that?" I asked sarcastically. He glared at me and his stomach betrayed him by growling loudly.

"Please, will you give my the food I asked for." He said in defeat. I made his meal quickly and efficiently, handing it back to him. Then, with a serious expression, I handed him a bottle of root beer. He screwed up his face at me when he took it.

"There are kids here Dean. Literally nothing but kids." I said, and he nodded in understanding. We were chowing down and talking about the riddle, saying random things from my past. I was munching, and my answers were getting repetitive.

"Try it again Soph." Sam encouraged. I sighed.

"I am a supernatural being." Nothing. "I have seen death." Nada. "I'm a weirdo living with a couple nutcases and angels being taught how to work some serious mojo." Zippo. I huffed, speaking louder and clearer, waving my fry around like a wand. "I am- f-fryless...hey!" I yelled as I watched my french fry get popped into Pan's mouth as he had stole it from me.

"You're not even close." He complained at me in mock disappointment. He stole another fry from my plate quickly as I glared at him and attempted to smack his hand. He jestured to the rest of my food after munching on my fry. "How do you do this anyway? You have more powers than just the wings?"

"I just sort of...wanted it and then sort of knew it could be there y'know? Then it was there." I told the truth, not letting on that I could actually do a ton more than fly and fight. He nodded with a passive look on his face, like he was thinking.

"You believed." He said simply, and stared at me intensely. I gulped nervously, and from the corner of my eye I saw a little hand creeping towards my food. I turned around quickly, putting my hands on the side of my face and wiggling my fingers.

"Boo!" I shouted suddenly at Pip, making him squeak at being caught. I laughed as his face turned red and kindly pushed the rest of my food to him. I was finished with it anyway.

"Well. That was cute, now all my fries are gone." Pan complained, crossing his arms playfully in a fake show of being upset. I shoved him lightly in the stomach.

"It was my food in the first place dummy. And I reserve the right to give it to whoever I want." I told him, turning in my chair and propping my elbows back on the tree table. Pan was about to speak again but James decided for the first time to speak up in his presence.

"Yes, and you chose a wild boy over your own flesh and blood. Very nice." James teased lightly, letting me know he wasn't serious about the accusations. I shrugged.

"He's cuter than you." I told him and he made an affronted sound, clutching his heart like an old lady.

"Well I never." He squeaked in a high pitch falsetto, "I am exceedingly adorable missy." I rolled my eyes and giggled at his antics, shaking my head.

"Sure bro." I placated him, paying his shoulder. He wiggled his eyebrows.

"Now give us a kiss!" He said in an overly fashonista voice. He lunged at me making a fishy face and I squeaked, smiling hugely as I dodged him and ran and hid behind Sam and Dean. Dean wasn't paying attention to anything but nursing his burger, but Sam was laughing at us softly.

"Oh, no. Leave me out of it." He said and shoved me out from behind him. James had gotten up and was ready to chase me, and Pip jumped up too, making the same ridiculous face. I smiled hugely and put my hand in front of me. They charged, I ran behind Pan, who had been lingering in the area, watching the show. He looked over his shoulder at me, his arms still crossed.

"We're gonna get you Sophie!" Pip yelled as James picked him up and sat him on his own shoulders. Pan smirked.

"About time you started acting your age, have a little fun." He said to me, and I huffed at his back.

"Oh really?" I said in a challenging tone. I put my hands on his back, edging closer and turning him when required to keep him as a barrier between me and my brother/Pip.

"Yeah reall-!" Pan began, but I shoved him hard into James making them both scramble for balance and James was yelling because Pip was pulling his hair in order to stay on. I laughed loudly and stood on my chair, but soon stopped when Pan look back at me with a face that said now he had joined the game.

"Uh oh!" I exclaimed as I turned and jumped on the table, sprinting down the large split log. Boys made haste in moving their plates and bowls as I sprinted through gracefully, laughing and shouting at me to run. I glanced behind me and saw that Pan had fiwwlowed me on my trail, and was gaining. I saw my brother and Pip cheering me on, giving up the chase. Adrenaline started kicking and I was smiling wider than I had in a while. I was having fun. I had also ran out of table.

"Gah!" I yelled as one of the older boys had reached out his hand to trip me at the end of the table. I jumped over it, but it put me off balance and I was bracing for the impact of the hard ground, knowing it was coming. I tucked and twisted in the air, so I would land on my back, squeezing my eyes closed tight. But the pain never came. "Oof!"

I opened my eyes to find that I had been caught from behind by none other than Pan himself. His eyes were bright and his smile was playful. He set me down and I turned to face him, my face flaming.

"I win." He claimed gently. I grinned.

"This time." I answered, putting my hair behind my ear as it had become a disarray when I was running. He leaned forward, his smile turning into a smirk.

"Every time." And he winked. I rolled my eyes and began to walk back to my friends. Pan grabbed my arm somewhat firmly, but I could feel he was hesitant and he pulled me back and turned me around. "Ready to go on that tour kitten?"

"It's Sophie." I snapped, exasperated. "And....yeah." All Pan did was smile. Smile, and slide his hand down to intertwine his fingers with mind and start tugging me into the woods.
