Cas followed me down to the dungeon. It was a weird place, really. The room outside was filled wall to wall with stuff that looked like either it was going to hurt you or help you, and books. Not that I'm complaining, I love them to a point of obsession, but why all the books? Whatever, but then there are these huge doors that are really heavy, iron maybe? And they smell like minerals. The doors were so heavy in fact, that I couldn't really budge them. I blushed. 'Yo, supah powers, where you at?' I thought as I looked skyward. I almost, almost used my abilities to gain a little super strength but I was a tad afraid it would go awry. I swallowed the bitter pill that was my pride.
"Cas..... can you get the doors please?" I asked this politely, keeping my head down. Castiel, ever the gentleman, didn't tease, only raised one eyebrow and shifted the food over to one arm and opened the door with ease. Fudging show off.
"Ladies first." He still didn't looked pleased at the turn of events that his evening had taken. I walked through the doors and saw Crowely staring at the table in front of him, a smirk whispering around the edges of his lips. He looked up as I walked in. I held up his sandwich and smiled. He looked a bit shocked, but pleased.
"Hello darling," he said smoothly, pleasantly. "Castiel." Okay, less pleasant. "To what do I owe the pleasure of this visit? Come to try to collect information again?" He rolled his head back to look at my face and laced his fingers in front of him. I rolled my eyes at the theatrics.
"Nope," I said, popping the 'p'. I set everything down on the table. Cas lingered by the door following my movements with a watchful eye and somehow simultaneously pushing an air of animosity towards Crowley's general direction. " and the name's Sophie, by the way."
"So I heard, tell me Sophie, what exactly do you think you are doing?" I was searching around for a chair as he spoke, and made a pleased noise when I found the fold up chair Kevin used earlier that day. All eyes were on me as I set up my little picnic and then went to Crowely's side. He looked up at me, cool and collected, if not intrigued by my actions. Castiel visibly bristled, and stood up straighter, ready to jump into action. I rolled my eyes.
"Relax Cas," I drawled out, annoyed. Then I redirected my attention back to the chained up 'extremely dangerous' man, who happened to be staring at my oversized, borrowed sleep shirt. I snapped my fingers and he looked up. I grinned cheekily. "To answer you question, I think I'm going to have lunch with the King of Hell, if you wanna." I added that last part as an afterthought, didn't want to seem pushy. He returned my grin, but his was laced with mischief.
"I'd be delighted, and are you going to feed me?" I raised my eyebrows in surprise at his brazen attitude, and Cas made an angry dignified sound deep in the back of his throat as a warning. I gave them both a 'really?' Look. But Crowely, being ever the opporunist, saw Cas's reaction and decided to take it a step forward and openly provoke the angel. He drew out his words, articulate and suggestive. "Or will you be my main course this evening? I havent had a young woman's blood in......far too long." Cas let out an actual growl.
"How dare you-" he said in a low, threatening voice, amd stalked towards Crowely. I shuffled towards him and put a hand on his chest in a 'halt' pose and, to my surprise, it completely stopped his forward momentum. Though I'm pretty sure it wasn't me, but him, making the choice to listen to me, I will fully take credit for that action.
