Today, the bright colours of the walls in Country Lake Orphanange did not bring a smile to 12-year-old Pamela Joon. Last night, Miss Eve, the headmistress, had raised the topic on not being able to go to regular school again.
Although Country Lake Orphanage was indeed a nice place, Pamela just felt really saddened by the fact that them orphans couldn't go to school because they had "sufficient learning" through computers. But seriously? Computers? They didn't even have textbooks for goodness sake! Even the youngest of the children in the orphanage needed stupid glasses already!
Pamela slumped her shoulders at that thought. For the past few years being in the orphanage, the thought of using computers just kept bugging her. Well she still had to live through it , didn't she?
She went back to the dorm, heaving a big sigh before opening the door. She grabbed her guitar and songbook before running off to the music room.

Pamela practiced her new song. She thoroughly enjoyed music and really hoped one day she could join the music company of her dreams,
SME Company.
Suddenly, the door burst open. Pamela stared. It was Miss Eve.
"Miss Eve what happened? Are you okay?"
"Pamela you'd never believe this, but the SME Company has invited you to try auditioning for them!"
Pamela was so shocked that she dropped all her music scores on the ground.
"Wh-what?!" She shrieked.
Pamela was so excited she actually ran forth and hugged Miss Eve.
Miss Eve continued, "They also mentioned about you being able to go to a regular school! Pamela all your dreams are coming true!"
Pamela was so happy that she started to cry.
" Thank you Miss Eve..." She said in between sobs.
"All right don't cry anymore okay? Start practicing for your audition now! I'm sure you will make it!" Miss Eve said encouragingly while patting Pamela's head.
