~~Rata's POV~~

We were stuck, no way out. Sjin stared at me, then Sips, then me again. He held back a rage that I could feel building up in him, and sighed dramatically.

"Why are you here?" He pointed at me, "And why the Nether are you with her?!" His voice rose up into a shout, and his eyes burned with anger and betrayal. "You do realise that you're breaking a law?" He continued, having calmed down.

"What law are we breaking, Sir?" Sips rebelled heroically. I don't think it was a good idea myself, but I couldn't stop him.

"A law that I had passed. Any person from Blackrock Kingdom cannot enter Sjipsco Kingdom without a valid reason and allowance from the King." Sjin walked a few steps closer, taking one hand to his sword just in case.

"You can't do that! The princess had important news, and she needed to tell me quickly!" Sips shouted, walking in front of me and stepping in my way, for protection from the twenty-odd knights with weapons.

Sjin laughed, as if he didn't value anyone's life. "Yes I can, and if Rata came here, and you let her in, then both of you are going to my dungeon. But it's a bit overcrowded, so I'll get you executed quickly. Maybe... Hm... Three days?" He faces the knights behind him, who nod in agreement.  "Three days it is! I'll alert your brother. It will be nice to see him try. Arrest them." He flicked his hand and the guards voilently took me to my cell. Sips got the cell next to me, and we could see each other through the walls... No, through the bars.

"I'm sorry. I shouldn't of let you in." Sips walked up to the bars, and clung on to them. "Maybe, if you tell them about..." His voice trailed off.

"Maybe, but Sjin is ruthless." I add simply. He wouldn't kill a child for pleasure, definetly not with a son of his own, but he would kill an enemy's sister for pleasure. I meet Sips at the bars, and hold his hand. "I'm sorry. It's my fault. I should never have told you."

"I wanted to know. I needed to know, in fact. We'll get out. We'll go back to Blackrock. Things will sort themselves out. I swear." He attempts to hug me through the bars, but it's almost impossible to get a loving hug without any awkwardness or uncomfortable parts. Instead he strokes my cheek, says "I love you, princess", and kisses me. This might be the last kiss we ever have, and I will cherish it like I cherished time with Mother.

"Oh, having a little romantic time?" Sjin smiles as he walks down the steps. "Well, I think it's adorable myself." Sips looks at him with a deathly glare, and I huddle into a corner.

"Do you realise something?" Sips stands up. "This woman here, the one you're going to kill, she has a little secret that she has to tell you." He faces me, and nods to say 'Go on, say it'.

"I'm... I'm pregnant." I admit. That felt terrible. News will spread. "And Sips is the father." Can this day get worse? Rythian will be so dissapointed.

"Really? Haha! This is perfect. I'll let you live here for a bit, then you can go home." Sjin smirked. I was suspicious of his change of heart, but grateful that he took out a key and unlocked our cells.

"I'm watching you." Sips threatened whilst he walked past him, and then he took my hand and took me to his- No, our - room.

"What are his intentions?" I asked him, settling on his bed. "Will he tell Rythian?"

"Probably, but we just have to wait and see." Sips looks at me, with a worried expression painted on his face. "At least we're alive." He smiles and bounces on to the bed next to me.

"Rythian will never forgive me." I crash my head into my hands, and Sips places an arm around me.

~~Rythian's POV~~

Magic is a folklore, told by the siliest of people. Magic doesn't exist.

I laugh at this bit. This book is supposed to be non-fiction, but all it talks about is how magic isn't real. This book is pure comedy in my eyes.

"Oh my glob, what?" Zoey says in the hallway. Why is she saying this? I head off to the place I heard her voice, to find her and a messenger stood there, Zoey smiling.

"What is it?" I question, walking up to Zoey protectively.

"It's about your sister. I'm Sjin's messenger." The stranger explained calmly

"If you've even touched her, I swear you will never see the sun again." I threaten through gritted teeth.

"Oh don't worry, she's fine. We found her sleeping in Sir Sips' bed, and she later told us she was pregnant with Sips' child." The messenger smiled.

"Isn't it adorable!" Zoey exclaimed, hugging my arm.

"W... What?" I opened my eyes wide. I don't believe it... This is happening? I'm dreaming, surely.

"Haha, the King said it would be a hilarious reaction." The messenger smirked as he unfolded a piece of paper.

"What's that?" Zoey asked nosily, trying to postion her head to see the text neatly written on the paper.

"Oh, this? It's a copy of a law that both Princess Rata and Sir Sips broke when they met last night. Would you like to hear it?" Smiled the messenger menacingly. I nod in disbelief, and he continues. "Any person from Blackrock Kingdom cannot enter Sjipsco Kingdom without a valid reason and allowance from the King."

"That law can't be passed without my permission!" I growl.

"Don't look at me." The messenger holds his arms up.

Outraged, I think of a plan "Get me my horse, Zoey. I'm going to Sjipsco."
