I opened the front door to see a giant stuffed bear holding a card. I looked around to see where Anna wondered off to, but she was nowhere in sight. Who can even move that fast? She only had a few seconds to disappear. So where the hell did she go?

I stepped out onto the sidewalk and walked closer to the bear. As I went to reach for the card, Anna stepped out from behind the bear, scaring the daylights out of me.

"ANNA! You scared the hell out of me!" I screamed, punching her in the arm.

"Ow! I'm sorry! But maybe you should turn around." She said, pointing to something behind me.

I turned around and there was Carter. He was dressed in dark jeans and sporting a black suit coat with a white t-shirt underneath. I couldn't help but smile at how handsome he looked. I watched as he took the giant card, with my name written on the front, out of the bear's hands.

Behind me, I heard music begin to play. It was our song - Everything by Michael Buble. In front of me, Carter held the card open towards me.

Homecoming? The card read, with the o's in homecoming written as hearts.

"Oh my god. Carter this is amazing. Yes!" I said, trying to keep my composure, but tears began to fall onto my face. I was so incredibly happy at this moment. I now realize just how great of a boyfriend Carter really is.

I mean I knew he was an amazing boyfriend before, but he is going above and beyond my expectations. I know Anna hates mushy moments and PDA, but she was about to experience both.

I threw the card out of Carter's hands and wrapped my arms around his neck. I pulled him into me, kissing him passionately. He wrapped his arms around my waist and deepened this kiss in response. I felt a smile forming as we kissed. He loved it when I did this, because it meant that I was genuinely happy in the moment.

"Alright, you guys can stop any time now." Anna called out. I have to admit that she lasted a lot longer than I thought she would. I figured she would immediately put an end to our very public display of affection.

I pulled myself away from Carter who obviously didn't want to let me go, as he was still tightly wrapped around my waist. I gave him a quick hug, then pried him off of me as I went to check out the giant bear he got for me.

"This is huge. How much did this cost you?" I asked, in awe.

"Don't worry about it. It was worth it to see the smile on your face." Carter said with a smile.

"Well you'll need to help me carry him inside! Both of you." I said beckoning them over as I attempted to pick the bear up.

Once the bear was safely inside the house and in my room, we all took a seat on the floor. Carter positioned himself close to me while Anna positioned herself against the wall a few feet away from us.

"So did Kaleb ask you to the dance today?" Carter asked Anna.

"He did. Did he tell you he was going to?" Anna asked in response.

"Wait a second." I said, turning to Carter. "You knew about Kaleb and Anna?! Why am I just now being informed?"

"Relax babe. He's on the football team and he asked me how he should ask her." Carter said, while rubbing my back.

"Still, Anna should have told me the minute they started talking." I said, crossing my arms, pretending to pout.

"Oh whatever. I didn't think anything was going to come of it." Anna laughed.
