Chapter 24

Alex (NF) POV:

Yusha kept asking me questions about what's happened to me and I answered him honestly. "How did you burn down the school?" He asked , seeming like he was really interested. "Well... First I got spray paint and sprayed on the ground and on the school. Then I went through the school with gas, and lit a match. That's really all I did" I explained to him.

"How about when you got caught by the police?" He asked another question. I looked down slightly "my dad got me out of the police station. All I had to do was run away. But I got caught, my sickness be can to act up. I couldn't run anymore, a cop was telling me to stop running, that he'd try to help me... But then I was shot and.. I remember that cop getting mad at the other cop..." I smiled softly. Jake even tried to help me back then...

"Do you know what happened to the cop that shot you?" He gave me a curious look. "Well..... My father showed up... So I think.... My father killed that cop" I said simply. "How about the one that tried to help you??? Did he die? Or did he live? Did you see him afterwards? Is he a friend or foe? How old is he??" Yusha seemed to get excited to ask this.

"Um... Hey... Why do you want to know that?" I asked feeling a bit worried. "Well, I just wanted to ask" he grinned softly. A shiver went down my spine as he smiled. I didn't trust this kid at all, something seemed off about him. I stood up "well I'm going to bed" I started to walk away when I heard Yusha's voice behind me. "You aren't dating that coo are you?~" my eyes widened. I felt him behind me. "Does this cop even know, he's got himself in a lot of trouble by this?" I heard a chuckle. Yusha's voice was smooth and seemed like he was a different person.

"Hope nothing bad happens to this cop~" Yusha put both his hands on my waist and pulled me against him, to make it look like he was hugging me. His hand on my lower half. "Remember your role" I felt his breath on my neck. My mind was going through a wreck by now. Things kept crossing my mind, over another, and another. I push Yusha away from me running to my room and slamming my door shut behind me.

I leaned against my door, my legs felt weak. I slowly slid down to the ground leaning on my door. He...how...why....why did he touch me... I was shaking holding myself. I Want... To see Jake... I want to see him... I don't want to be here... I heard a knock behind me at the door which I was leaning on, still on the floor. I flinched slightly. My eyes widened as I saw the door handle move, someone coming inside.

I ran towards my window when the door fully opened. A hand grabbed my wrist and pulled me away from the window. I turned quickly and was about to slap the person who grabbed me, but that hand was also grabbed. I felt a knot form in my throat. In front of me once again was Yusha. Leave me alone! Why are you in my room?! Why are you doing this?!?! He put his hand on my mouth. "Shh. You'll make Danin and your father come in here" his gaze terrified me. He looked at me with a gaze that said he would hurt me. I didn't care at this point and I kicked him hard in leg and head butted him straight on.

I ran and slammed opened my window and jumped out. I heard Yusha stumble slightly but got over it instantly. He grabbed the back of my shirt before I got all the way out. I struggled and I heard my shirt rip slightly. I heard it Rip all The way and a fell. I stumbled into the yard, but quickly recovered. I started to run. I threw off my ripped up shirt which was getting in the way. I heard Yusha after me. Run, run...run... I forced myself to run as fast as I could. I must get to Jake... But.. Yusha.... he'll hurt Jake! I turned to look behind me and saw Yusha. He wasn't that close, but it still made me scared.
