Birthday Special

Jake POV:

Jake woke up to Alex jumping onto him yelling "Jake! Jake wake up!" Jake groaned "5 more minutes..." Jake went back to sleep but Alex didn't allow that. Alex now took Jakes blankets and hit him with a pillow "Get up!" Alex ordered. Jake opened his eyes as he continued to groan "Alex...what the hell..." Alex was on top of him holding box. "What's that..." Jake asked as he yawned. "Its your birthday present!" Alex grinned as he put it down besides him. "You didn't have to Alex." Jake told him as he was still waking up.

Alex pouted slightly "I couldn't get my boyfriend a gift for his birthday?" Alex continued to pout. Jake chuckled slightly as he grabbed ahold of Alex and pulled him over, making him underneath him, Jake looking down at him. Jake smiled as kissed Alex on the lips "all I need is you for my birthday...." Jake told him as he kissed down Alex's neck. "That's a cheesy pick up line Jake!" Alex said as he somehow slide out from under him and was now besides the bed.

Jake sat up now as his only way to stay in bed was ruined. "Open your gift!" Alex ordered. Jake looked behind him and grabbed the box, placing it in his lap. When he opened it, it was another box. When he opened that box, there was another box. When he opened that box, there was another box. "Alex.... Please tell me you're joking..." Jake looked at all the boxes he already thrown onto the bed. Alex was laughing now "I'm sorry, I had to torture you a bit." Alex grinned "just keep going, I promise there is actually a gift in there!" Alex assured him.

Jake continued until there was a small box left, when he opened the last box, there was a silver watch in it. "Alex..." Jake picked the watch up and examined it. On the side of it, it had his name carved into it. Jake faced Alex who was smiling brightly. Without hesitation Jake grabbed hold of him and hugged him tightly. "Thank you so much Alex..." Jake smiled into Alex's sweater.

Next day at work

"Hey Jake, did you have a nice week off?" An officer asked. "Yeah thanks Allen." Jake told him as he was looking through papers. "Oh, that's a nice watch Jake, where'd you get it?" Another officer asked. "My lover bought it for my birthday." He told the officer. "You're girlfriend must really love you." The officer laughed. Jake looked at the watched and smiled softly. "Yeah, I'm lucky" he said as he now smiled brightly.
