16. Party

I uh.. Changed the way Rosa looks again, cause I couldn't find another pic of the last person I had playing her character.

Excuse the mistakes, enjoy.

Kae's Pov:

"Enough Aubrey! I'm tired of this shit, I can't take it anymore. It's been months and all you do is leave every night and don't come back until the next day.. In the middle of the day at that! I-I can't be with you anymore" I yelled.

It's been a while and he never has the time for me anymore, I've waited months for him to come around but that's just not happening. I'm sure he sleeps with other women and has me out here looking like a damn fool to the whole world. I ask him why he hasn't at least texted or called me to tell me where he is, he says he never gets them or his phone died. All he does is give excuses, well excuses get old. If there's someone else just tell me so I can pack my things an go.

"Babe, stop yelling. Why do you want to leave me? I told you my phone died" He explained, shrugging his shoulders in the process.

"Your phone always dies! Either that or you never get my texts or calls. I don't ask for much, just some of your time and loyalty. But you can't provide either of them can you?" I scoffed, rolling my eyes.

I shouldn't have to beg my significant other to spend time with me, they should want to do it freely.

"You tripping. I'm always working, I'm always in the booth. I'm trying to provide for us yet and you don't appreciate it so why should I even bother?" He sat down on the love seat.

"I don't appreciate it? I don't need the money, cars, clothes or shoes. Yes, stability is nice but I need love and affection. You don't have to bother anymore cause I'm done" I stomped upstairs grabbing a few suitcases and stuffing my stuff inside them. I packed them all in my car, then went back inside to grab my phone and keys. He was still sitting on the love seat with his face in his hands, I shook my head then left slamming the door shut.

*6 Days Later*

Rosa's Pov:

Today is my little angel's birthday and her party is today. I was going to wait a few days until after her birthday to throw her a party but she was very persistent in wanting one today. I only invited a few people I knew on the block that has kids, cause what the hell are grown ass adults going to be doing at a kids party? Ang and I went all out, there's a bouncy house, face paint, rides, horses, cartoon characters, there's even a stage so a few of her favorite characters can wish her a happy birthday. Then after that Chris is supposed to be singing to her.

Speaking of Chris, he was supposed to be here ten minutes ago. I texted him but he never answered, he didn't even read it. He better have a damn good reason for being late.

"Where's Chris?" Ty asked while holding his son in his hands.

"I don't know but when I see him I'm gonna punch him in his face six times, I'm not playing" I said. I heard kids yelling and screaming coming from behind me and when I turned around Chris was standing there with someone dressed up as Olaf from frozen, Jamie was standing right beside him laughing.

"Hey baby, look who I found" He started coming near me, "He was lost so I had to go get him, sorry" He gave me a kiss on the cheek.

"Mhm" I hummed.

Chris furrowed his eyebrows at me, then shrugged it off. 

"I love you" He sang, then raced Jamie to the bouncy house. He is such a little kid sometimes.

On another note, I bet Natalie would love to be here. I miss her so much, I have to find her. Jamie needs to know that she has an aunt out there. My life has been going so fast and it's now slowing down so I have time to search for her. I know I won't find her within a few days but I can still look. I'm definitely going to be looking.

"Hey babes, you alright?" Ang asked, putting her hand on my shoulder.

"Yeah I'm fine, What's up?" I fake smiled.

"I just got off the phone with someone from our past, and I know me an her didn't get along. Matter of fact we talked a few times before back in high school but that was it. Anyways, guess who" She raised her eyebrows with a small smile on her face.

"Really? Who" I curiously asked.

How come almost everyone from my past is showing up all of a sudden? Chris set off a chain reaction, now I'm seeing everybody when I tried so hard to get away from them.

"Karrueche Tran, I know you remember her. She said she's in town for a while and wants to know if we wanna meet up?" She questioned.

Wow.

"Why is everyone from my past finding me? But I guess, it can't hurt can it?" I rolled my eyes slightly. Chris started heading back my way with a smile on his face.

"Who are ya'll over here talking about?" He asked.

"Who said we were talking about anybody?" Ang put her hands on her hips.

"I don't know, I was just assuming you were. Cause women are always talking shit about somebody, especially you two" He laughed.

"Whatever" I walked away.

Chris's Pov:

"Are you two fighting?" Angela asked when Rosa walked away.

"She just has an attitude cause I was late, I had to show dumb ass Olaf where to go. She ought to be happy I'm even here, I could be somewhere else" I said walking away with Angela following my steps. To be honest Rosa's bad vibes are starting to bounce off of her and onto me.

"No you couldn't be somewhere else cause you love that little girl so of course you came here for her, don't let it get you down. I'll see you later Breezy" She patted me on the back and walked away, catching up with Ty.

I can't believe she's mad cause I was showing someone who was supposed to be here in the right place. Nah, I know Rosa. She's mad about something else and she's picking at everything to keep her mind off of whatever has her brain twisted. I'm gonna get down to the bottom of it, but for now I'm going to celebrate with my daughter.

A few hours later, it's now in the middle of the night and I'm wide awake laying on the couch. Rosa didn't talk to me for the rest of the party. She's big mad. Fuck that, I'm gonna go lay it down on her to make her forget why she's so mad in the first place. I got up from the couch, walking up to her room, when I got in there she was facing towards the door awake. Shutting the door I felt her eyes on me the whole time.

"I'm sorry" She whispered while I layed next to her. I turned towards her then hovered over her while she looked up at me.

"For what?" I leaned in kissing her on the nose.

"For ignoring you today, I love you" She wrapped her arms around my neck. I licked my lips slowly then leaned in closer, pressing myself against her.

"I love you too, What was on your mind today? Talk to daddy" I chuckled.

She let out a small laugh, "You ain't daddy, but I'll tell you tomorrow" She kissed me on the lips and nudged me in the shoulder. As I was kissing her she ran her hands up and down my back.

"I'ma make you call me daddy" I reached in her panties toying with her slit.

One thing led to another and she ended up calling me daddy.
