Ch.35(pt.1)

*Bree's POV*

"This is were it all started..." Why did I agree to this, I thought walking around the all so familiar house.

"Babe what happened here?" Carey asked.

*Flashback*

"Are you excited to meet my parents?!" I asked so excitedly. We had the weekend off so we decided on going to Colorado for Mike to meet my parents.

"I'm so excited." He said while smiling towards me. It felt so good being home.

"Well I'm gonna go unpack a few things and then get ready for dinner." I said while going over and kissing his cheek. Walking up the big main stairs felt so good. I didn't realize how much I missed it. I need to catch up with friends while I'm home!

*skip getting ready*

Mike and I walked into the small Italian restaurant hand in hand. Finally, we spot my parents towards the back.
"Hello Mr. And Mrs. Bishop. It's a pleasure to finally meet you." Mike said with a smile.

*skip dinner*

"Brianna can we speak to you? In private?" My parents asked.
"Um yea sure. He's the keys to the car." I said handing them over to Mike.
"Brianna we don't think this is a good relationship." My mom said.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"We just get this bad vibe about Mike. Please just be careful alright?" My dad said.
"We love each other. I think he's the one." I told them while walking away.

*skip car ride*

"Hey come here?" Mike said with open arms. "You really think I love you?" He said with a laugh.
"What do you mean?" I asked him so confused. Right when I said that, I was thrown to the ground.
"I don't love you. I never will. You are simply a toy." He said. Right when he said that, I began to cry. Punch after punch he finally was done. I thought he loved me...

*end of flashback*

By the end, I was balling my eyes out.

"I don't come here because this is where the abuse started." I said while looking down.

"Oh B I would never do that too you." Carey said while running over and attacking me with a hug and kiss.

"I know you would never." I said while smiling up to him.

"I brought you a change of clothes." He said while pulling them out.

"Why? I said very confused.

"Because I wanna take you somewhere special. Now go change." He said while handing me a bag.

"I love you." I said while kissing him.

"I love you too. Now go." He said.

I ran up to my room and went straight to the bathroom. My hair fell into nice curls and I didn't feel like applying any makeup on because being with Carey means I didn't have too. He loves me for me. Not for what I put on my face. I reach into the bag to see what Carey had picked out and was very impressed. Surely Andrea had helped him. I pulled out a long creamish sweater, black tights, a black cross body bag, and maroon booties. Once I was done getting ready, I made my way downstairs. Carey greeted me at the door with a blind fold.

"Again? Seriously?" I said while laughing, remembering our first date.

"Yes I want this to be a surprise." He said while tying the blind fold around my head. He took my hand into his and guided me from my house to the front door.

"Are you excited?" He whispered into my ear.

"I'm actually really excited." I said while smiling and thinking of all the possibilities.

*skip car ride*

"We are here." Carey said while turning off the car. I opened my door and exited the vehicle. Carey took my hand into his and guided me to this 'special' place.

"You can take your blindfold off." Carey whispered into my ear. I carefully and slowly took it off and examined the whole area.

"Happy Anniversary Babe." Carey said while pulling me in for a long passionate kiss.
