Chapter 15
It seemed like nothing I did could make me forget about the dream I had the night before. I avoided Severus at all costs. I didn't show up to class that day I couldn't face him yet. I needed to think of a way to tell him the truth with out telling him everything. Then it hit me. I had two weeks until I had to make my decision on whether to become apart of voldemorts army or die. I knew I wouldn't be killed by them but being tortured until I wanted to die didn't seem like much fun. Now I knew I had to speak to severus. Maybe he could help me.
Severus I need to speak with you

I waited for a reply for what seemed like forever until a note came through my door.
My chambers 8. Pm tomorrow. Dont be late.

At least hell talk to me I thought. I took a moment to look over the note. His handwriting was sharp and pointed and slightly slanted but it was beautiful. For a man he had wonderful penmanship. I hadn't ever really spoken to him on a personal level before and he didn't seem the type to really listen but I had no other choice. I had no one. I was alone in the world. I starred at the ceiling before I made a decision to talk to him now. He'd be angry with me but it was important. I didn't know what to do and seeing as he was one of them maybe he would at least give me some insight.
I knocked on his door and waited for an answer.
"what do you want." he sneered.
"I need to talk to you Severus. It's two weeks from when I'm to make a decision." I stated in a bored tone.
"I told you I would speak to you tomorrow." then closed the door.
I banged on the door yelling for him to open it.
"what do you want insolent girl!" he screamed at me.
"you will talk to me Severus! I don't care what time it is or what day it is!" I screamed back.
"fine. What do you need to talk about Ariella. I've things that need attended to." he said in a bored tone.
"I dont know what to do about the dark lord Severus." I spoke as I walked into his room.
"you join him or he'll kill you Ariella."
"that's it. That's all you've to tell me! I already knew that you stubborn old man!"
"don't yell at me stupid girl. It's not any of my concern what happens to you."
"so that's it then. That's all you're going to tell me."
"there's nothing else to tell."
"unbelievable. You're utterly useless."
That only seemed to piss him off. For he slammed me into a wall and pointed his wand into the side of my neck.
"listen you incompetent fool. I do not care what you choose. I don't care what happens to you. You could walk out of that door and never come back and it would greatly please me. You act helpless. How you made it so long in that forest is beyond me. I am not the one thats useless in this conversation."
Then he let me go. But while he was saying all these things it made me realize he wasn't afraid of me. But he should be. I had made my decision and I would prove some thing to him. And it was going to come very soon. Then he'd see what kind of monster I really was.
"Get. Out."
"or what Severus. What could you possibly do to me."
He never let go of me as he pushed the wand further into my neck.
"you've no idea."
"I'm not afraid of you Severus. Nothing could make me scared of you." I laughed.
"in fact the way I see it. You wouldn't do anything to me even if you wanted to. The dark lord wants me. You'd be punished greatly if you did anything to me."
He let go instantly. I walked out of the room and into mine shutting the door and everyone out. I stayed in the dark for the rest of the night only thinking about one thing. Severus snape.
