Chapter 16
"Severus where are we going" I asked trying to keep up with his pace.
We were leaving the school and into the forest. Odd. First he yells at me for going in here and then he takes me in here. The fuck the man is insane.
"Severus!!" I yelled which caused him to stop.
"Show me." He demanded.
"Show you what?"
"What you can do you stupid girl."
"How exactly is that going to help me."
"If you show me what you are capable of then maybe the dark lord won't want you anymore. Seeing as you can't do magic I don't know why he wants you anyways."
"Just because I don't do magic doesn't mean I can't do anything Severus."
"Just show me." He said pinching the bridge of his nose.
"Severus....I can't."
"You can't?!?! Why the hell not you foolish..."
"Shut up Severus I can't because I don't want to hurt you okay!!! You may not care what happens to me but for some odd fucking reason I care what happens to you and I will hurt you." I yelled back.
He didn't say anything but paced back and forth. Thinking. He didn't understand and I could tell. He doesn't know what I am or what I can do but I do. And if things turn for the worst I could kill him before he even realized.
"Can you do anything ariella. Do you have any powers at all. Magic. Anything." He asked still pacing.
"Severus this is a waste of time. You don't know me and you don't know what I am." I whispered as I started to walk back to the castle.
"Then what are you."
"I'm an unstable creature Severus. There is a reason I was put in a cave and not with the rest of the village."
"They seem to think you're dead. And have been for many years."
"You talked to them?" I asked not believing what I was hearing.
"Of course we did. How do you think we found out where they put you. You're parents didn't want us to look for you but when we mentioned the dark lord they quickly gave up your location."
"YOU TALK TO MY PARENTS!!" I yelled. I could feel myself shaking. "HOW DARE YOU TALK TO THEM!!!"
"And here I thought you didn't care about them. They don't seem to care about you." He smirked.
"Severus please stop you don't know what you're doing...." I begged. I could see my pure white hair turning black and I didn't want to lose control. I couldn't stop when I lost control.
"Or what ariella. You're going to hurt me." He dryly laughed.
I couldn't be here anymore. I disappeared into my room. The look on Severus' face when the darkness enclosed my body was priceless. I knew he'd be at my door in minutes.
Moments later I heard his door open then close. Then a few minutes later it opened again and I heard him pass some thing under the door.
Tomorrow come to my chambers and we will talk. I can help you if you will let me.

He wanted to help me and I didn't know why. He was being nice to me. Well nice for him. And I was a complete asshole. He needed to know what I was and what I could do. I could tell him but I couldn't show him. And I needed to apologize.
I walked out and knocked on his door. A few moments later he opened the door and looked pretty awful actually.
"What do you want ariella."
"I'm sorry Severus for that. I'll tell you everything you want to know tomorrow."
"You came to tell me that?" He raised an eyebrow to me.
"Everyone else here may hate you but I don't Severus. You're a nice person deep down." I didn't know why I was saying it but I was.
"You don't know anything girl." He barked.
"You care what happens to me. I know that much."
He didn't say anything but just looked at me like I'd grown another head.
"Goodnight ariella." He whispered and closed the door.
"Goodnight sev." I whispered back and walked to my room.
I didn't know what I was feeling. But some thing about Severus snape made me feel like I was cared for. Some thing I never felt before. And I cared for him.
I was falling for Severus snape.
