Ch20.
Gino's POV
I'm out with my friends and we are currently at this little ice cream shop down the street from my house.
"Yo, dude. Your sister is hot." My friend John said.
"Dude, don't talk about my sister like that."
"She is. She smokin man!"
"Stop!"
"What? Does the truth hurt?"
"No, but my fist does." He gave me a confused look right before I plunged my fist in his face. I heard a crack which I'm assuming it was his nose. "Never talk about my sister like that! Got it?!?!?!"
"Yeah man chill, I think you broke my nose!"
"Good!" With that I walked away, to clear my mind. I turned and saw one of my sister's friends, Li. She was sitting on her porch crying. Being the good-hearted guy I am, I went over to console her.
"Hey, you ok?" I asked.
"I'm fine. It's just my boyfriend and I brokeup."
"Wanna talk about it?"
"No, I don't want to burden you."
"I have time." I sat next to her and she looked at me for the first time. She smiled and sat back.
"Well, he said he wanted to see me to tell me something. I got all prettied up for him and answered the door when he knocked, I opened the door. He said he didn't love me, and that our relationship is over. I saw a girl come up behind him and assumed that that was the girl he was leaving me for. I screamed at him and the whore and you know who he stuck up for? Her. Not the girl he dated for a year, but the slut that he met 5 minutes before. He left with her and I came out here to wallow in my own pitty. I'm pathetic." She started crying again and I hugged her.
"Your not pathetic, your awesome. He's the one who should be suffering, not you. Your a great girl and any guy would be lucky to have you." I said and smiled down at her. She smiled back and I wiped away her tears.
"Thanks, for staying and listening to my problems and all."
"Anytime. Hey, you want to come to my house and we can just hang out?"
"Sure."
We walked to my house and I lead Li to the living room where Alexa was sitting watching The Breakfast Club.
"Wait, your Alexa's little brother!" She whisper-screamed in my ear.
"Glad to know you catch on quick. We did spend like, an hour and a half talking." She turned a bright shade of red. I pinched her cheeks and she pouted and stuck her tougne out. She sat next to Alexa, and explained the situation.
"Well, I gotta meet up with some friends. So, I'll leave you guys alone." She pulled me into the next room and gave me a hard stare. "Listen, Li is sweet and nice and innocent. You make her uncomfortable at all and I'll have your head. Got it?" I nodded obidently and she left.
I waked in the living room and saw Li staring at a picture of my family on the wall.

Alexa's POV
To say I was surprised to see my brother and Li being all buddy buddy with each other would be an understatement. I left for 2 reasons.
1) I really don't want to be in there with them
2) I have to go meet up with my Gloucester friends and my gang members for a "meeting"
They said to meet them at King of Pizza for only god knows why. I swung open the door and heard the little bell that rings when you come in. I looked over at the tables and saw my friends talking at a couple tables in the back. I walked over to an empty seat at a bench next to Jackson. They focused their attention to me and I felt a little self conscious. Every one was here, even Logan.
"Haha, watcha doin?"
"We were instructed to keep you here." Said Jason.
"Why? Where's Ryan?"
"He told us to keep you here for a surprise." Hope answered with a smile.
"What surprise?"
Just then Ryan came in with a bouquet of flowers.
"Uh..... Ryan, what are doing?" I asked.
"Alexa, will you please go to prom with me?"
My eyes widened to the size of saucers for a second and then turned back to normal. Then he pulled his hand from behind his back to reveal the smallest of chihuahua puppies.
"OH MY GOD! Where did you get it? What gender is it? Aw it's so cute!"
"Well, I got him from a friend. Their chihuahua had puppies and they couldn't take care of them all. His name is Sparky."
"He's so cute! Is this a bribe to go to prom with you?"
"Maybe......."
"Well, I was gonna except without the puppy but he makes it all the more better!"
I started baby talking and stopped when I realized I was baby talking in front of my friends who thought I was this big tough girl now.
"Ummmmm, yeah. I don't give a fuck. He's frickin adorable!" I said and started baby talking the puppy again while every one stared in shock.
Best day ever!
