Jason's POV

I walked up to Hope's door and knocked. She came to the door in an oversized t-shirt and pajama shorts. To tell you the truth, she looked pretty cute.

"Hey, can we talk?" I asked.

"Talk? Talk about what?"

"I know about the baby."

"Shit! I was hoping you wouldn't find out."

"Well, in nine months when a small baby is coming out of you, don't you think there will be questions on who the father is?"

"I don't know! I haven't thought that part out yet!"

"Seriously? I knew you were blonde, but that is ridiculous."

"Well, come in." I walked inside the comfy home and sat on the couch. She took a seat next to me and we settled in awkward silence.

"I want to keep the baby."

"What?"

"I want to keep the baby. I know it's a big responsibility, but I want to try."

"Really? Your not messing with me? You want to keep this child?" Tears started to form in her eyes.

"Yes. I want to keep the baby, and I want to raise it with you." She smiled, by this time tears were streaming down her face. I enveloped her in a hug and she hugged back. She looked up into my eyes and I wiped the tears away.

"We're gonna have a baby. We are going to have a baby! Oh my god! Haha!" I smiled at her enthusiasm. I'm going to be a dad.

(Few hours later)

"What do you think we should name him?" She asked.

"I think we should name HER Amanda."

"Well, HE should be named Alexander."

"Fine, if it's a girl Amanda and if it's a boy Alexander." She gave me a bright smile and I smiled back.

"So when will we be able to tell the gender?"

"The doctor said in a couple of weeks, but I don't want to know. I like surprises. Well, most surprises." We laughed and then sat there in comfortable silence.

"You know, there are a lot of surprises in life. Some more unexpected than others."

"Yeah, I know. Where are you getting at?"

"On my walk here I had time to think and," I got down on one knee and pulled out a little black box, "Hope Paskman, will you marry me?" With that said, I opened the box and showcased that inside was none other than a diamond ring. She gasped and looked me I the eyes. She smiled and nodded her head.

"Yes! I will be your wife! Yes!" I stood to my feet and wrapped my arms around her. It was then I realized that I had to change my ways for my soon to be family. Everything has changed and I wouldn't want it any other way.

Alexa's POV

I left Jason's a little while after he left. I'm just taking my time to get home. Time to think, time to sort things out, time to make sense of it all. I opened my door and there stood Ryan pacing back and forth.

"Ryan?" He looked at me and smiled.

"How'd it go?"

"He fainted, but took in the information and as we speak is discussing this with Hope."

"Good, does he want the baby?"

"I don't know. I told him, he thought for a while, and then left."

"He just left? He didn't say anything? Just walked out the door?"

"Yep, not a word."

"Hm, strange guy. But he's cool."

"That's why he's my friend." I smiled as I recall our memories.

"So, what if you do end up with the baby?"

"I have no idea. In all my years of planning my life ahead of me, I never considered having a child during my high school years. I guess I'll just go with it." I shrugged and looked up at him. There was that emotion again. That emotion that is so foreign to me. I gave him a small smile and he returned it.

"Alexa, I'm most happy when I'm with you. When you were gone all those years, I was so depressed. You mean so much to me, more than you could think and I think I'm in love with you."

"Yo-you are?"

"Yes, are you in love with me?" I'm stunned. He confessed his love and all I can do is stutter and stare. I already know I love him, so why can't I get those damn words out. I just stared and saw the gleam of hope inside him slowly die out and all I wanted to do was blurt the words, but they won't come out.

"I see. Well thanks for being there and I'll see you later." He said. I saw tears swell up in his eyes. He walked past me. I grabbed his arm, spun him around, and smashed my lips against his. The kiss was sweet and passionate. He slid his arms around my waist and my arms found a way around his neck. I pulled away to catch my breath.

"I love you too. I always have, and I always will." I said breathlessly. He smiled and kissed me again.

If possible, he wrapped his arms tighter around my waist. Bringing us closer together, and it was like he thought I was going to disappear. He bit my bottom lip, asking for access, and I gladly let his tounge explore my mouth.

It dawned on me then that I was making out with probably the hottest guy in school, and that he loves me. Not any other girl but me. It felt great!
