**NOW
"How did we end up here?" I asked myself. I watch Lily's chest barely rise up and down. I wince just looking at her. I can't help, but notice how peaceful she looks. Almost too peaceful. I place my hand on her cheek.
"Lily can you hear me? It's Luke. Listen I'm sorry I yelled at you and I don't know what to do with myself. I've been a mess. I left the airport for you, although our flights been delayed anyways. It can wait. I will wait for you. Take your time. I-I don't know how we got here and what happened to you? Did you run away? Did you get kidnapped? Did you get r- never mind let's not think about it. All that matters is that I'm here now and I love you so much." Tears are streaming down my cheeks. "I don't think I can ever replace you. Lily, please give me a sign that you're here. Please." Nothing happens. "I know I'm here now, but still I'm so curious why you were gone? I'm sorry I shouldn't be rambling so much I just care so much and I'm going to kill whoever did this-" Lily bolts up to a sitting position and gasps
"Luke!" As soon as the moment came it was gone. She collapsed back. Her heart monitor started beeping really loud. That's not good. I grab her and sit her up.
"I'm here Lily it's going to be okay! I love you! HELP I NEED A DOCTOR!" I shout. Immediately nurses come rushing Lily away. That's it. She's gone.
