Leigh Ann's Pov

I was home making sure the house was all cleaned up and not trashed when Benny and his tutor come over after school. Having Shiloh help Benny with math was the best thing ever. I've met her twice and she is a lovely girl. A little shy, but a sweet heart. After the football game tonight we are all coming back to the house and having a small party for us and the Williams. My mama and Brantley's mama is going to be there as well. I have the soda ready and the chips and the dip. I need to buy more meat. Brantley and Dean and Colby are cooking on the grill.  Thank God that the store was only 15 minutes from here. I got my purse and my car keys and left. I only have about 30 minutes before my family will be home from school. I just got in the car and backed it up when I saw movement by the log home that Billy own's. I turned the car off and grabbed a baseball bat and walked over to the cabin. The front door was open. I slowly walked in. The house had beer cans and beer bottles every where? Who would have done something like this? I looked around and no one was in the kitchen, living room nor the bath room. May my eyes were playing a trick on me. I was about to walk out when I hit some one and fell onto the ground. 

"Please don't kill me. I have a family. Take my money. Please don't--" I was cut off.

"Mama, mama, mama, it's me Billy." I looked up and saw my son next to me. I slapped him in his arm. 

"Boy what the hell were you thinking? I could have hit you with a baseball bat?" I told him. Billy helped me up and I saw he had beer with him. 

"Sorry ma'am." Billy told me. 

"It's fine baby, but--" I looked at him and he had a black eyes. 

"What happened?" I asked him. 

"Nothing mama?" Billy told me. 

"Why are you here? Is Eve with you?" I asked him. 

"I don't want to talk about that damn bitch no more. I hope she is happy with her--"Billy was crying his eyes out. I ran to him. 

"Honey talk to me." I asked him. 

"Mama, we are done? She was cheating on me? She was cheating one me this whole time. I walked in on her and her boyfriend both naked. In my bed that I made love to her?" Billy broke down and fell on the ground and saw crying. I went down too and hold on too him. 

"Baby I am so sorry this has happened to you?" I told him. 

"I need my mommy now mama." Billy told me. I rocked us back and forth and I saw his back had whelps on it and looks a little swelled up and some bruises. My poor baby. I told him I love him and he was the best man in the whole world and he was a perfect man for a woman. We sat there for another 30 minutes before I remembered I need to get the meat. 

"Honey why don't you come up to the house with me and get some ice on your eye and take a shower okay." I told him. 

"Dad will be mad at me? What will my brothers and sister think of me." Billy said. After what he went throw he's still worried about his brothers and sister and his father. 

"That you are a human and that they love you and care for you. Come on baby." I told him. I got up and helped Billy up. 

"I Love you baby?" I told him. 

"I love you too mama?" Billy told me. We walked back to the house and when we got there my husband and my children just pulled up in his big truck. Brantley got out and ran to us. 

"What the hell happened?" Brantley said to me. 

"Honey not here? Billy is going to take a  long shower and put some cleaned clothes on and then we will talk. Do you need any help." I asked him. 

"No mama. Dad I need some clothes." Billy said. 

"I have some you can wear." Benny said.

"Okay. Come on. I need you to help me with the stair case okay." Billy said. 

"Sure big brother." Benny said. I watched as my 2 oldest children walked into the house and I looked at my other 2 children. 

"Got any homework." I asked them. 

"Yes." They both said. 

"Go. We have to be at the football field in an hour and a 1/2." I told them. 

"Yes mama." Brennan said. 

"Yes mommy?" My daughter Lila said. I watched as they went inside the house. I looked over at Brantley and he was pissed. 

"What the fuck happened?" Brantley asked me. 

"Don't get mad?" I said. 

"Tell me what happened?" Brantley said. I hate it when he gets like this? 

"I saw someone in Billy's cabin so I walked over there and the cabin is trashed. There's beer cans every where and I was about to leave when I ran into Billy." I told him. 

"Why does he have a black eye and why is he having a hard time walking?" Brantley asked me. 

"I don't know? We will all talk about it later. Billy needs to talk to you any way. He told me but he needs to tell you? Where is Shiloh at?" I asked him. 

"Benny told her that he doesn't need her help so she went on home." Brantley told me. 

"I thought we talked and for the rest of the year she was going to help Ben out?" I asked him. 

"We did. And I called her and told her that and starting tomorrow she will be here at our place for 3 hours on Mondays, Tuesdays, and on Fridays. He needs this girl to help him and he will do it rather he wants to or not. No child of mine is going to be failing in school when they have someone to help them." Brantley said. 

"I agree. Does Benny know yet?" I asked him. 

"Yep and he doesn't like it, but I don't give a fuck." Brantley told me walking back into the house? Great a son that is pissed off, a son who is hurting and a very pissed off husband. What a perfect day? I walked inside and try to keep everyone from not killing each other when Billy comes down. I know this much if I ever see that girl who hurt my son I will beat the living shit out of her and her new stick with a dick. Damn I need a beer and I don't even like beer no more.
