Brantley's Pov

I was sitting outside smoking a cigarette and drinking my coffee. The past week has been hell on Leigh Ann and I. Moving Soph in 2 weeks ago with Billy and finding out that Benny is going to be a dad and today we are having a small dinner for him, because he is turning 17 to day. I still can't believe it i'm going to be a grandpa in 4 more months. When Leigh Ann, Benny and I went over to Tara's mama and daddy's they was not happy about it, Tara is only 17 and she wants to go to college and I know Benny, wants to become a mechanic and open his own shop up. I don't know what we are going to do yet. I was looking at my truck, I need to give it a good car wash soon. I was sitting out there for another 20 minutes before my young sexy wife walked out in her shorts and one of my old shirts. Leigh Ann sat on my lap and kissed my neck. I love this woman with everything I have inside of me. 

"Morning Baby Girl." I said to my wife. 

"Morning grandpa." Leigh Ann said to me, kissing my chest. I put my arms around her. 

"I still can't believe I'm going to be a grandpa." I told her. 

'What about me, I'm going to be the youngest grandma in the town of Jefferson." Leigh Ann told me. 

"Well, that maybe true, but you are still the sexy as fuck to me Baby Girl." I told my girl. 

"I love you, you old man." Leigh Ann told me. 

"I love you more sugar." I told her. We sat out there for a few more minutes before Benny walked out all dressed. It's Saturday for one, so he should be sleeping and two it's this kids birthday.

"What are you doing up this early sweetie?" Leigh Ann asked our son.

"I got a job, working on car's at Buck's in town." Benny told us. 

"Sweetie what about school, the football team?" Leigh Ann said. 

"Yeah, and does Buck know you are only 17  right." I asked him. 

"Yes, he does, and we talked about it, I'm going to work at the shed with him Monday-Friday 3-6 and on Saturday's 7 in the morning til 6 at night." Benny told us. I'm not so sure about this? 

"Look, I love you both a lot, but I have a baby that is coming into this world in 4 more months. I need to start saving." Benny told us. 

"Brantley, what do you think about this?" Leigh Ann asked me. 

"Well, the boy is right darlin. How much is Buck paying you son?" I asked him

"My cheeks are going to be only $250 a week." Benny said to us. 

"I have to go, so mama, may I use your car. I'm going to save up for one, but It's going to take some time." Benny asked his mama. 

"Yes." Leigh Ann said to Benny. 

"Thanks mama love you. See ya dad." Benny said running over to Leigh Ann's old ESCAPE that she bought over 15 years ago. She drives a 2032 mini van. We bought it this year. And I drive a 2028 pick up truck. We watched as he left our place and got on the road and headed to town. 

"Well, he is growing up way to fast if you ask me?" Leigh Ann told me. I looked at her and smiled.

"We raised a good son there, Baby Girl. All of your kids are great." I told her. 

"Yeah, I know, I just wish none of this was happening now." Leigh Ann said to me walking back into the house. I got up and walked inside with her. 

"So, what are we having for dinner? Who's all coming tonight?" I asked my wife. 

"Well, the whole family is coming? And we are having pot roast, taters, cabbage, a salad, mom is bring her home make cheese cake and your mother is bring the gifts and Luce is bring me a bottle of red wine." Leigh Ann told me.
