Pan's P.O.V

I walked further into the forest and climbed up a ladder on one of the trees. I had a sack of food and a canteen of water inside to bring to someone that was here. I walked inside and knocked "Decent?" I called out. "Yes, come in." The voice called back. I walked inside and set the food down on the table. "Here's this weeks food love. Better make it last." I smirked. "Pan, why do you still keep me here? I want to go home." said the girl. "You know why, as long as you do what I want, I'll spare the lives of your brothers." "But you never have me do anything! I'm always stuck up here pretending that I want to be here." "Don't worry love, the time will come when I will use you." "Then will I be free?" she asked. "No Wendy, but that doesn't mean you can't come out and play." I replied. She looked down at her feet and I walked out of her treehouse and left her pondering her fate.

Antoinette's P.O.V

I woke up with a crick in my neck and stiff legs from being cramped in one corner. I couldn't tell what time it was, because it had been dark since I had arrived, but it felt like it had been hours. I looked down and realized I had cut my leg being forced into this stupid cage. I ripped part of the sleeve on my sweatshirt and tied it around the wound. I decided to take off my sweatshirt anyway because of how hot I was getting. I heard someone walking over and I sat up and prepared myself for a scolding or something. Instead, the boy Michael walked over and unlocked the cage and told me to get out. "Why?" I asked."Am I being set free?" "Not exactly. Pan wants a word with you." he told me.

He walked behind me and directed me toward the camp. When we reached the camp, Pan turned and looked at me. "Well well, look who's back." Pan mocked. "Yeah well, it wasn't like I could exactly escape now could I?" I retorted. He looked at me and shook his head. "Do you want to know why I brought you here Antoinette?"

"Fine, tell me."

"I brought you here because there is something within you that I need. You have always felt that your life was a lie, haven't you? You felt that there was more to things than just your daily agenda." Pan said. "H-how did you know that?" I asked "Because every night you could hear the music when I played my flute. You always felt lonely, that you had no one in your corner. How many nights did you cry yourself to sleep?" "That is exactly how I feel, but I would never admit it." I said. "You just did love." Pan smirked. "You're trying to break me down aren't you? You're trying to weaken me so you can get what you want, you're trying to manipulate me!" I exclaimed. "Well, I won't let you!" I yelled

I grabbed one of the Lost Boy's weapons that was on the ground and hit Pan over the head. He was caught so off guard that he fell to the ground and was temporarily stunned. I dropped the spear and ran as fast as I could into the dense jungle. I was breathing hard and constantly looking behind me. I turned my head and ran right into Pan's chest. "Hello love, miss me?" Pan smirked. Pan used magic and backed me up against a tree and held a knife to my throat. "You've got fire, I like fire." Pan whispered. I grunted and tried to get out of his grasp, but he held onto me tighter. "Don't fight it love, you might cut yourself." He pressed the blade of the knife against my throat with more pressure and it made a small cut underneath my chin. I winced as it cut me and the blood started dripping down my neck. "Oh look at that, you've cut yourself. Don't worry, I can fix it." Pan whispered. As soon as he said that he swept his hand across the wound and I felt relief. I looked down and it was healed.

"I can't have you running off again love, so I'm afraid I'm going to have to detain you until some of that spunk dies down." Pan told me. With that he teleported us back to the camp and I once again found myself tied to a tree. "Ugh! Are you ever gonna just leave me alone?!" I yelled at Pan. "Not until I've gained your trust love." "You'll never gain my trust. I won't let myself open up to you." I spat. "We'll see. I have ways of making you talk." Pan raised his eyebrow and hissed in my ear. "You are never ever leaving this island Antoinette. I'll make sure of it."

Pan turned away and walked toward one of the Lost Boys. "Jeremy, keep an eye on Miss Peerson. Make sure she doesn't... run away again." "No. I won't do it. She's just a girl." Jeremy replied. "No? Are you sure that's what you want your answer to be?" Pan asked him. "Y-Yes. I won't harm and innocent girl." "Well then." And with that, Pan walked over and ripped Jeremy's heart out in front of everyone. Jeremy groaned in pain and fell to the ground. "Wrong choice lad." Pan told him. And Pan crushed his heart and killed him. Jeremy looked at me with his dying eyes and drew his last breath. I gasped and a single tear fell from my face. "What? You actually cared for that boy?" Pan asked me. "Well no, but he didn't deserve to die! He was innocent! He had a life! And you just killed him for nothing! How could you? You heartless bloody demon!" "It wasn't for nothing, he defied me. And all the boys know the punishment for that." I turned my head away from Pan's view and silently wept, wondering what Pan had in store for me.
