•Ruby's POV•

Wow who knew my mind could be so creative?

I started laughing as I remembered what I did the night before with Akaila. I guess watching those creepypasta videos weren't such a good idea after all. Now that I think about it, I wonder what she's doing.

"Ruby," I looked over with a smile to the door, "will you be okay?"

I laughed once more then grinned, "Better then ever!"

•Jeff's POV•

Holy fuck, has she lost it? About damn time, I would've thought just being in the same room with me for maybe a half a second would make someone go crazy but hey, new record for me?

I leaned further against the door and heard her giggle once more until her giggling finally toned down. I'm sure if I bring this up she'd fucking lose it. Although, hasn't she already?

I walked in with a feeling akin to content but I doubted that's an emotion that I'd be "dearly graced with", I cackled inwardly, 'As if.'

Ruby stood in the middle of the room with a huge grin plastered onto her face, "Ruby," I said grabbing her attention. She twirled around looking towards me, "will you be okay?"

"Better then ever!" She giggled, then laughed, then grinned, "Never been better Jeff!" She sighed in content.

Let's face the facts, being all dark and shit then happy as fuck? "What drugs are you on Ruby?" I asked and she pouted which made an uncertain feeling rumble in my stomach.

"Well fuck you Jeff, I'm not on anything!"

A huge insane looking grim stretched from ear-to-ear, "Where'd this new found confidence come from?"

"You! If it weren't for you I wouldn't have figured out that I'm in a nightmare! Or maybe a coma! I still have yet to figure out!"

Nightmare? Coma? Where was this girl getting at? Cause' she wasn't even close. The correct answer is Reality! Such a beautifully twisted place~!

"Ruby I think your missing something in that little equation you've got going there."

"Oh yeah and what's that?" She asked still grinning which I found incredibly hot, she seems like the dominant type but that'll change.

"This isn't a dream, nightmare, or coma~! This my friend is what I like to promote as: Cruel Reality~! It's great really!" I exclaim and as soon as the words left my mouth, her grin too.

"N-No that's impossible!" She said grinning whilst shaking her head, oh yeah she's loosing it!

"No, no, NO! This isn't real, Jeff is just a creepypasta and this" she pointed to the room, "is just a figure of imagination!"

I snorted, "Yeah right! Then come here and let me prove it to you."

She was hesitant at first but walked over to me anyways. I took a hold of her hand then scratched her arm from her forearm down to right above her wrist - making sure to leave a mark and bleed. Throughout the whole process, she'd scream, plead, and even cried - music to my ears!

"Y-You- Why that h-hurt so much!" She stammered caressing her now damaged and bleeding arm. A slight twinge of guilt and sadness washed over me but I easily slipped past the emotion. It's been a while since I've felt them though.

"Why'd you d-do that?!"

"To prove to you this wasn't anything you'd guessed before, like I said this" I said pointing to everything around us, "is our cruel, cruel, reality! And together we're in it!" I finished off with a solid laugh.

She looked absolutely stunned then sad, regret still had a way to find me. Damn, just leave me alone!
