Y/n POV:
Joe handed me the keys to our flat and I left to go shopping.
2 hours later:
I unlocked the door to our flat and let myself in. I couldn't see Joe so I shouted for him. Joe came running up the stairs in a navy suit and hair slicked to one side. "Is everything okay? I thought something was wrong when you called my name" Joe said rubbing the back of his neck shyly. "No I just wondered where you where that's all" Joe looked amazing I just didn't have to confidence to compliment him. I didn't want to mess up again. "I'll go and get ready in the bathroom" I said and pulled my shopping bags in with me. I could see Joe go back down stairs.
Joes POV:
I went back up stairs to see if y/n was ready for our date yet. I had something booked for us. Y/n came out of the bathroom in a short navy dress matching the colour of my suit. Her hair was wavy coming down a bit longer than shoulder length. She didn't wear much makeup as she clearly didn't need it. "You look beautiful" I finally managed to say. "You don't look so bad yourself" she laughed and I made a sad pouty face to go with the joke. I got up and we left.
"Where are we going" y/n asked.
"Surprise" I said.
Y/n POV:
We finally came to a small shop, cute gardens, fairy lights and flowers. They let us in and found us a table.
We sat opposite each other on the wooden chairs. "This is beautiful Joe. Thankyou" I said. There was a long silence and Joe was just staring at me. "Joe?!" I asked. "Y/n! I'm sorry I stared at you and everything stopped for a while"
