1. The Master Plan"I still think this is not going to work. Their boarders are very guarded." Ariana, my sister said trying to change our father's mind. But knowing our father is a stubborn and strict man, her words are useless to him.
Dad sighed for the millionth time today and turned to look at Ari in a hard stare.
"What do you know about planning an attack Arianna? This plan is perfect and I don't want to hear it anymore from you." He said and turned to the remaining of his pack members.
Seven months. It's been seven months since the surprised attack from the Elite pack. It was the day that dad would had stepped down from his Alpha position and handed it over to Hunter, my brother. How the other pack got in without the patrols noticing is still a mystery. Though, they are one of the most feared and powerful packs in Canada. They are very skilled and strong. More than half of our pack members and houses were killed and destroyed. The remaining of us all are still grieving because we all lost something that day. I lost Hunter that day, he was my brother and also one of my best friends and the Elite pack must pay even if it means dying in the process. Few of the pack members who survived went rogue, they lost hope. And the remaining are still loyal and are here with my father planing an attack.
"Give up already." I said to Ari with an eye roll and turned to my father.
"By sundown we leave for the Elite pack and we should get there by Dawn tomorrow, prepare." He said and everyone bowed as a sign of respect before dispersing.
"Oliver, are you sure this is the right thing to do?" Mom spoke up as we were the only four left in the room. I know she's not fully on board about this, but it's just perfect.
"What do you mean?" Dad answered.
"I know we lost Hunter and almost everything but we shouldn't fight back. This isn't right." She said softly. My mom is like a dove at heart with her forest green eyes and red hair but she's a dirty fighter on a battlefield.
"We can't give up now, we've been planning this for five months already." I said upset.
"Honey." She scolded.
"Evie this is perfect, we can finally give them what they deserve." Dad spoke in anger and grieve.
"I hope you are right."
"How come you get to go and I don't." Ari grumbled.
"Thats because I can fight and you can't." I replied and moved closer to the group of already shifted wolves.
"I am good at blocking attacks, I could be your shield just like bella in twilight." She said and I looked at her like she was crazy.
"We're dealing with wolves here not vampires." I remainded her.
"Fine, but be safe Avery. I dont want to lose another sibling."
"I'll try." I said grimly before finally shifting into my wolf. My fur was a light brown and like all werewolves when they shift my eyes were a glowing golden colour. My senses are more heightened and stronger in wolf form, I can see and smell better.
Mums floral and citrus scent filled my nose and I turned my wolf head around to see her embracing her mate like its the last time she will ever see him. Though it might be since we are going against Elite Pack, there is a 40 60 percent chance of us winning.
Dad was first to pull away as he looked at her steadily meaning they are using the pack-link. He kissed her lips before walking over to the group of eager revenge thirsty wolves.
He shifted and moved to the front as the leader before howling. We joined him then raced into the forest.
'Stop.' Dad said through the pack-link.
