Recap:
"Yeah. And we need to be each others rock and shoulder." She replied sniffing.
"I'm sorry." I say and sighs.
"It's okay. I understand the pain but remember that I am also in pain." She answers and I smile at her.
"It is time for dinner. Let's go." I say and help her off the bed.
"I wonder how nobody heard us with all the shouting we did." She asked and I shrug.
"Beats me. Let's promise not to fight like that again." I say.
"Promise." She smiles at me in return.
5. The Wild Wolf.
Click.
Bam.
"Lucca control yourself!" I heard Marco's voice shout from downstairs. He voice sounded loud and angry.
My heart skipped a beat at the sound of glasses being broken.
"What's that sound?" Blue asks scared.
"I'm not sure but I think it is Marco." I said getting up from the couch.
"Where are you going?" She ask.
"To find out what is going on. Come on." I urge her to follow me.
Both scared and confused, we ran downstairs. We walked into the living room which was where the whole commotion was coming from.
A gasp left my mouth at the sight in front of me. Standing in the middle of the room was worried Marco with about six other pack members. But the sight that frightened me the most was a wild looking Lucca being held down.
His claws were elongated and his sharp teeth poking out from his mouth. His shirt was gone but he had worn out shorts on him. There were freshly afflicted claws marks on his skin and his eyes were pitch black.
Lucca's head snapped at me and he let out an animalistic growl.
"Calm down, now. Don't let her see you like this." Marco shouted at Lucca making pounce on him.
Lucca's wolf was on control and at the moment out of its mind. He growled sinisterly in Marco's face snapping its teeth threateningly at him. Lucca's wolf must have felt challenged by Marco when he commanded him. Moreover, the fact that he is an alpha makes the matters worst.
"Marco! What's going on?" I ask frozen on the spot. I stared at my mate disturbed at his current state of mind.
Lucca turns to me at the sound of my voice. His black eyes stare at me making shivers run through my spine in a terrible way.
"Mate." He snaps at me, jumping off Marco before stalking towards me. He was making little growling sounds at the back of his throat.
A blood hurling scream leaves my mouth as I take a take a step back.
"Stop. Stop, Aria. He would not hurt you. If you run, you will only make him angry and chase you. And I don't think you want to be chased by him in this state." Marco says to me before getting up from the floor.
My heart pounds heavily against my chest as I look once more at my mate. My body shakes with fear and I began to feel dizzy.
"Mate." He snaps at me again cornering me to a wall.
My eyes search frantically for a way of escape but was in vain. Lucca blocked all my path and was moving close to me that I could feel his body heat radiating from him.
