Leo smiles happily looking at his ring. Neymar had gone on a business trip but would return today for their anniversary.
Lionel had a nice dinner planned for the both of them. Neymar was always out on business trips. Lionel didn't complain though. It would be selfish of him to do such a thing since Neymar treated him so well.
"I'm home!!"
The voice made Lionel's heart swell up in happiness. They kissed passionately.
"Welcome come,"

A few days later, Neymar was out for another business trip. Lionel got a little frustrated. Why all these business trips? Why was Neymar being so secretive about things now? Before, he'd ask Lionel to join him. But little by little, that stopped.
Lionel receives a call late at night. He sighs, who could it be?
"Hello?"
"Hey.. Leo.. Is Neymar there.. He left his things here today.. "
"Huh? Ney left for a business trip in the morning," Leo says
"No.. He left work early but he forgot a few things.. Neymar hasn't been on business trips in a few months.."
"Yes he has.. He just came back from one and then left again," Leo sighs
"Leo.. Are you sure? Neymar didn't have any trips scheduled," Cristiano says through the phone
"Oh.."
"I'm coming over!"
Leo cries in the arms of Cristiano that night. Cristiano wishes he would've just kept his mouth shut. He hates to see Lionel so upset.
Maybe it was the fact that he was in love with the smaller man. But he always accepted his fate as the friend. He never acted upon his feelings for Lionel because Neymar, his best friend, was in love with him.
But why would Neymar be lying to Lionel? The answer was obvious. He was cheating on his husband. But why would he do that? Neymar claimed to love Lionel more than anything.
"It's okay, Leo.. It'll be okay,"
Lionel cries even more. He falls asleep in the older man's arms.

Cristiano doesn't leave Leo at all. Lionel thinks that it's very sweet of him to do that but tries hard to stay away. Cristiano notices how distant Lionel is with him but tries not to be hurt by it.
Neymar has yet to return. It drives them both crazy.

It's a Tuesday morning when Neymar does return. Cristiano is gone and Lionel feels his heart begin to pound. Why isn't Cristiano here? He needs him.
"Hi baby," Neymar smiles
"Hi," Leo smiles
Neymar tries to kiss him but Leo moves away. Neymar gives him a strange look.
"Where have you been?"
"I told you.. Business trip baby.."
"No. Don't lie. I already know the truth.. "
"Leo.."
"How could you ?!? "
"Leo baby.. Please.."
"No Ney.. No.. Go! Go!!"
"Leo!! Listen to me!!"
"Please.. Just leave !! "
Neymar doesn't know what to do. How could things gotten so out of control?

Cristiano gets home and finds it silent. He walks into the kitchen and sees broken glass everywhere. An intruder ? Leo!!
He rushes up the stairs and into Lionel's room. There, his heart breaks. Lionel lays happily asleep with Neymar. He swallows thickly.
"It's always been him.. "
He hates himself. He's so stupid. He actually thought that Lionel might fall in love with him. How silly..
