Love is overrated. It is a feeling that will drive you insane faster than a blink of an eye. What's so exciting and fun about falling for that person and then being left heartbroken?
There's nothing fun in love after time has passed by and you truly see just how petty the feelings actually were.
There's one love that you'll never be able to forget. No matter how hard you try to, it will simply be impossible. That person has snuck into the deepest parts of your soul, and you can't do anything about it.
"Love isn't easy, Ney.. You do know that right? You can't just expect him to love you so easily..." His sister tells him
Neymar sobs quietly. He takes another small kisses chocolate and unwraps it before throwing it in his mouth. His sister sighs.
"Get up. Get dressed. We're going out!"
"I don't want to.. I want to stay home and be sad!" Neymar cries out pathetically
"God, Ney... You look like a girl on her period.. I can say it because that was me 2 weeks ago! Stop fussing over this man. If he loves you then he'll show you.. And if you love him then you have to show him that you do as well.. Who knows, he's probably just as troubled by it as you," she says
But he wasn't. Lionel Messi would never let a young high schooler get in his way. He had explained that and left it perfectly clear to Neymar when he had shamelessly confessed his love for the older man.
Neymar sees him very often. Lionel seems to be a demon from hell that will never stop haunting him.
He doesn't even realize where they're going. He's simply thinking about the man that he can't have. The man that he'll never have. It twists his insides to know that someday, somewhere, someone else will make this man happy.
"Hi, welcome.. I will be your waiter for today.. Would you like anything to drink?" A pretty girl asks them as they sit

"Alright, I'll be right back!" She smiles
Neymar's eyes widen in fear and horror. He wants the earth to swallow him whole at that very moment.
"Ney? What's wrong ?" Rafaela asks him
"N-nothing.. Can we go... I don't feel good," neymar says quietly
"We just got here. Let's eat first yeah? It won't take long.. What's wrong?" She asks worriedly
"Nothing.. I have to use the restroom I'll be right back,"
Neymar falls against the wall immediately. He can't believe it. Of course he's there! He hears the door being opened and turns around.
"I knew I wasn't seeing things,"
That voice. It's haunting. Neymar wants to break down and cry.
"I'm sorry for ruining your day," neymar Spits bitterly
"Why do you hate me so much? What did I ever do to you?" Lionel asks, sounding hurt
"I don't hate you and you know it.. "
"I tried calling you.. I wanted to see you.. To explain myself as to why I acted like that the night you made your confession.. But you never answered.. Your sister said you didn't even want to see me so I didn't bother anymore.. I just.. I don't understand Ney,"
"I changed my number.. I'm sorry.. I just.. It hurt me a lot.. I didn't want to know about you anymore;"
"You know I'm so fucking in love with you," lionel smirks grabbing him
Neymar smiles as their lips meet.

"She saw me go into the bathroom right after you went in," Lionel winks at him

Neymar will always think that love is overrated. But he will always think that it is worth it as well.
