Aurorangeline was dressed 'casually' to say at the most.
She was wearing a lime green nike shirt and black basketball shorts to go with it.
Black and yellow nike's covered her feet.
Her tied back hair was now let loose, and she was chewing minty gum.
While Lio's jaw practically dropped to the floor, she gave him a menacing glare.
And only one word came out of her mouth; 'Rory'
Lio was puzzled. 'Pardon?'
'I go by Rory. Aurorangeline is wayy to long to say, and is wayy too girly. Therefore, I'm Rory.'
She stuck out her hand and shook Gloria's and Paul's hands. Then, there was an awkward silence.
And the only sound everyone heard
Was the smacking of Rory's gum.
'Well, I gotta go.' She said, and ran to the backyard.
The boys talked for a while, and played video games in Adrian's room.
Lio started to learn more about the Adam's family.
Like the fact that Adrian was 14, the oldest, so he had a separate room.
That Nathaniel was 13 and Matthew was 12, and that they shared a room. Rory was 12 as well, and had her own room, like Adrian.
Lio, Matthew, and Rory were all the same age.
Lio also learned that Meredith's ex husband, Austin, walked out on them when Meredith was pregnant with Adrian.
He could tell that was hard for them to say.
'Lio, how old are you?' Adrian asked.
'Twelve. I know, I look alot older' He said with a wink.
The boys chuckled.
They talked about school, how dumb it is, and how complicated girls are.
'Lio, in 8th grade, girls will kiss you then tell you how much they hate you'
Adrian said, with a facepalm.
That reminded Lio of when April kissed him on the last day of school; would she change?
After hours of gossiping like girls, Lio walked around the room to stretch.
The walls of Adrian's room were painted green, and he had three shelves full of awards he had won in basketball and soccer.
Lio looked in Nathaniel and Matthew's room to see a light blue room with two twin beds and shelves full of pictures.
Then, he paused at Rory's door.
Should I go in?
He decided not to.
'Lio, come look at this!' Nathaniel screamed!
Lio ran in to find that Nathaniel had made a ridiculously awesome goal in FIFA.
'Woah, how'd you do that?' Lio stared in awe.
'If only you could do that in real life' Matthew joked.
Nathaniel rolled his eyes, and the three boys continued to play FIFA.
Lio looked out the window to see Rory practicing tricks, and she nailed one that Lio was still struggling with.
Adrian turned around.
'Lio you don't have to watch Rory and her pathetic little attempt to be as good as boys in soccer' he said.
And it wasnt in a jokingly way.
Adrian's eyes were dead serious, and Lio thought that he was right.
'Yeah, yeah. Hey man, pass me the controller. Let me try' Lio exclaimed.
But he couldn't get what Adrian said out of his head.

'CHILDREN! COME DOWN AND EAT PIZZA!' Meredith called.
Nathaniel ran down first, followed by Adrian, Matthew, then Lio.
Gloria pulled out a red pizza cutter from the drawers and began to slice the pizza into 8 slices.
'I'm STARVING!' Matthew moaned.
Lio wasn't very hungry.
The boys all ate like pigs...but wait.
Where's Rory?
They left two slices for her.
'Come on guys, I bet I'll beat you in MADDEN' Lio bragged.
'Wait. Adrian said, and he stared at the two slices left.
He looked left, then right before spitting right on both of the slices. 'The girl can eat our crumbs; she's far from equal to us' Adrian scoffed.
'Okay. Let's go.' Adrian grinned.
'Woah woah woah. Adrian, what's wrong with you?' Lio questioned.
He understood sibling love, but this went too far.
'What?' Adrian scoffed.
Rory walked in, covered in sweat.
'Oooo pizza' Rory exclaimed.
And Lio cringed.
Adrian kept a straight face,
And the other boys were already upstairs, placing bets on who would win.
Rory picked up the pizza and like slow motion she was about to take a bite,
when Lio did a flying front snap-kick, knocking the pizza out of her hand and onto the floor.
Then he stomped on it, and threw the other pizza slice in Adrian's face.
'WHAT THE-'
'Lio!' Rory interrupted her brother.
'Why would you do that?' Rory asked. Her eyes were full of concern and anger.
No. No this is all wrong. I did it for the right reasons.
And of course, Adrian plays the victim card.
'Mom! Lio threw pizza at me!' Adrian began to cry.
Un.be.lie.vab.le.
Meredith walked in with a look of shock written all over her face.
'What?! That's not what happened at all. Adrian-'
'SAVE IT! Meredith yelled,
'I think you should go home Elliott.' Meredith said sternly.
Wow. She called me by my first name... Must be really mad.
Gloria kept apologizing until they left the Adams' house, when she started to scold him.
'Elliott Joseph STEWART WHAT ON EARTH WERE YOU THINKING YOU COMPLETELY EMBARRASSED ME AND YOUR FATHER YOU ARE GROUNDED FOR TWO MONTHS.'
Lio nodded, only half listening.
But what caught his attention was when his father's hand covered his mom's belly.
'Gloria, stop it. It's not good for the-' Paul muttered.
And Lio stood in shock.
His mom was pregnant.
