The boys ran. They didn't want to waste anytime; they had to practice.

Lio had pressured Hunter to practice with him, knowing what Rory was capable of.
Hunter laughed in his face while dribling a ball. 'Dude, what's wrong with you? Did you forget? She's a girl.' He snorted.

'Ya know, she can do alot more than you think, Hunter. Being a girl doesn't limit her to anything.' Lio said, obviously annoyed.

Hunter's eyes grew wide. 'Lio, why are you defending her?' He gasped. 'Do you like her?!'

'Of course not! She's the enemy! You can't like the enemy!'

Hunter eyed him suspiciously for a minute, before kicking the ball to make a clean goal.

Lio breaks the silence.
'I- I just think we need the practice.
We're kinda rusty, don't ya think?'

Hinter nodded knowingly, but it was obvious he didn't completely believe him.

Lio picked up his phone to hear it ring; his mom was calling, and he answered.
'Hey mom'
'Lio, come home now. It's dinner time'
'Okay'
The she hung up.
'Hunter, want to come over for dinner?'
'I'm good man, thanks though. See you tomorrow.
They did their handshake, then left their separate ways.

Lio ate furiously.
'Elliott, slow down.' His mother ordered.
Lio glanced up, and his father and mother were whispering.
Then his father cleared his throat.
'Lio, you have to share your room with the baby.'
Lio was suddenly alarmed. The baby would be coming in months.

'But...what about the guest room? Can't the baby have that room?' He questioned.

'We don't want the baby alone, and we still need that guest room for guests.'

The rest of dinner was silent.

The alarm clock screamed, and Lio jumped out of bed, falling face first onto the cold wood floor. His hand hit the buzzer, and he suddenly remembered what was to happen today; the last step of Operation Elimination.

Today was the day Rory went down.

Or they went down.

He stumbled down the stairs to be greeted with blueberry pancakes. As he ate ferociously, there was a knock at the door. And to no surprise, it was Hunter. 'Hey Lio, i thought  we could play video games for a while'

'Sure, let me finish breakfast first'

They went downstairs and play C.O.D for a good two hours.

'Hunter, you suck! Switch to your second shooter and just maybe you can take me down'

'Shut up!' Hunter replied while doing as suggested.

They played and played and fell asleep and played until it was 3:30. Then, they went out to practice for the match that would take place in roughly an hour.

Then, they see Rory had already beaten them there. The two boys hide behind a bush and watch her for a few minutes. She scores a goal, does a nice rainbow, then shoots the ball towards a tree, it bounces off, and she headers it into the small, rectangular goal.

Hunter's face turns from sheer amusement to total horror.

'Dude. What have we gotten into?'

'I told you! You are making us do this!' Lio complained.

'We got this, we got this' They reassured them selves.

While bouncing the ball on her knee, she says; 'You guys don't actually have to hide behind the bushes you know' Without her eyes ever leaving the ball.

The boys emerge from the bush as if they're in trouble.

'Lets have the match now' Hunter blurts out.

Rory gives him a genuine smile. 'ok'

The 3 kids line up in the most inward circle. Rory simply as midfielder on one side, Hunter as striker, and Lio as defense.

And the game starts with the ball between Hunter's feet. He makes a skilled move, but is quickly megged by Rory. She takes the ball and makes a lead for the goal, but is stopped by defender Lio, who steps in front of her, rolls the ball to the tip of his shoes, and kicks it far towards Hunter.

Rory saw this move and ran far in front of Hunter, blocking the goal. She takes the ball and scores a long shot goal. Hunter stomps on the ground, and Lio spits into it. Rory simply returns to the line they were about to go back to.

Similar things happen for the next 45 minutes, and the score is finally 8-3.

8 being Rory, 3 being Hunter and Lio.

'GAAHAHHHH!' Hunter screams.

Rory says 'Good game', and runs back home, leaving the two boys dumbfounded and bewildered.

'That did not-'

'Oh yes it did' Lio interrupts.

Hunter leaves without saying another word, and eventually so does Lio.

'ELLIOT! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!!??' His mother scolds him.

'Field' He mumbles.

'WHY DON'T YOU ANSWER YOUR PHONE?!'

'Didn't check'

'THAT'S IT! YOU'RE GROUNDED! GIVE US YOUR PHONE, AND YOU MAY NOT GO TO THE FIELD FOR A WEEK!'

Lio threw his phone down and ran to his room. It was already getting dark, and he didn't want to think anymore.

He laid on his bed and for the next 12 hours, his dreams were in control. But, only one person constantly popped into his dreams; doing legendary soccer tricks and trash talking him.

And her name was Aurorangeline Adams.
