Another Day, Another Problem

*bell rings*

*over intercom;* 'Have a great day, Freedom Point Dragons!'

Every one runs out of the building like a herd of sheep to get to their homes.

Rory takes her time and sees Wilson pass by her in the halls.

'Hey Wilson.'

'Do I know you?'

'OH MY GOSH' She slams her locker shut and heads to the door to be greeted by Hunter.

'Hey, what's up with you? After lunch  you wouldn't talk to me at any class'

'Wasn't in the mood'

'Well be in the mood! The tournaments in an hour!'

'Yeah, yeah. I'll work on it. Where's Lio?'

She turned around and saw Lio  basically drooling over April who was sweet talking him into doing her homework.

'Yeah April, sure I can do your science homework.'

'Really? Thanks Lio, you're the best!' She squealed and kissed him on the cheek. Lio ran up to Hunter and Rory while April watched a few feet away.

'Really? You hang out with her?' April asked disgusted.

'Umm-I well-'

'Yes he does' Hunter spoke up, 'and 'her' is an awesome girl. Not like I'd expect you to know what the definition of 'awesome' is. Wilson does your language arts homework.'

April scoffed then sashayed over to Rory before spitting in her face.

Hunter caught Rory before she was about to kill April.

He wrapped his arms around her stomach as she lunged for April's face and threw a sick punch.

'Rory, stop!' Hunter yelled. He pulled her over to the other side of the hallway and said one word to April;

'Run.'

She did as told and ran all the way home.

'April, wait!' Lio called and ran after her.

'What is wrong with her?. Ughh!'

'Hey, chill out, Rory. You're better than her.'

Hunter realized that he's never seen Rory cry or her eyes water. Even now, Anger was the only dissatisfaction that she ever showed on her face. Anger.

She looked at him dead in the eyes and said one word;

'Lio.'

Hunter saw a sharp pain in her face before the anger returned.

'How could he possibly like her after all she's done to me?'

'Rory, I've known him for like 6 years; he's never liked a girl like this, I don't think he meant to-'

And he was interrupted with a hug. A quick one. Seriously, it only lasted a second.

'Thanks for being here for me. Especially since this is a new school and stuff'

Hunter longed to hug her again, for a longer time preferably, but he decided otherwise.

'Hey, the tournament's in 30 minutes? Want to practice?

'Yeah definitely. Were you guys serious about entering?'

'Yeah.'

'Ok, good. Let's go'

The two ran down the sidewalks and into the soccer field that was now filled with many kids. She didn't see Lio there though.

He's probably with April.
