(sorry this took so long! :P enjoy!)
About a month passed since I moved to Kyoto, Ichihara, and school would be starting the next day. Mia and I would be in the same school, but not in the same dorm. Because Mia is a year younger than me, he would be the 6th floor and I would be in the 7th floor.
Hina got us all set to stay at the school, all my stuff in bags, and Mia's stuff in bags. We don't leave the school unless its breaks or emergency's or just to take a small break on weekends.
The next day Hina drove us the school. We both got out of the car; Hina did as well.
"Okay, your dorms are 6th and 7th, be safe. Don't cause trouble, meet new people, be friendly, and come home this winter break. I love you both."
Hina kissed Mia on the forehead, and kissed my forehead too.
"Love you Hina." I said starting to walk off.
"Love you too, Nixon." Hina said back to me. I saw Mia run over to a few people, they must be his friends.
A lady wearing a school uniform was handing out flyers about the school and the dorms. In the flyers, was about what you'd learn in the dorms. I thanked her. Next a man handed out keys.
He looked at me, and handed me a key.
"Dorm 4 on floor 7." He told me.
I thanked him and made my way into the school.
The school was huge, the roof looked huge, about 1500 feet up, or maybe I'm overreacting, but this was just the entrance.
"How did Hina get us into such a fancy school...?" I asked myself. Lots of new students were coming, from what I could see.
I tapped my head.
"Remember, keep going, you can't turn back and act like a scared child, I won't be a fan boy here, and I'll be a normal kid. Like everyone else." I continued to walk to the elevator.
The only people in the elevator were two teenage girls chatting, a teacher on the phone, a blonde boy about my age and me.
I got into the elevator and pushed the 7th floor.
The blonde boy was mysterious.
He had short blonde hair, turquoise eyes and a white shirt with a black tie on.
The elevator moved quickly but safely.
It stopped at floor 7; I quickly got out of the elevator and looked at my key.
"Dorm 4, huh." I looked at the door number in front of me, which said Dorm 17.
I still had to walk down the hallway, but that's okay. I glanced back and the blonde boy was gone.
"Hm." I glanced down the right, the numbers only went higher.
"Okay so the left." I started to walk down the hallway until I got to the fourth dorm.
Dorm 4. On the door, dorm 4 was bold.
"Mmmm kay." I said putting the key in the slot.
I turned the door knob and opened the door.
The room was huge. Beige carpets, a brown coffee table, a flat screen TV with high definition, a doorway to the kitchen. White counters, black chairs, and a silver sink with a stove and a dishwasher. A grey microwave sitting on the counter.
"Wow..." I said quietly.
At that moment, I didn't realize that I needed to share the whole dorm.
The blonde boy popped his head out of one of the doors.
"Oh, hello. You must be the roommate, I'm guessing." He said walking towards me.
"Um, yeah, I have to stay in dorm 4, I'm guessing you do too?" I asked tilting my head into the question.
He nodded.
"Well instead of just standing here, it's best to know each other's names if we are going to be, dorm mates? Yeah, for this year." He said to me.
"Um, yeah. I'm Nixon." I said handing my hand out my hand.
"I'm Haku." He said shaking my hand.
"Nice to meet you Haku." I said bowing.
"Nice to meet you too, Nixon." He said bowing as well.
I straightened myself out.
"So, which room is mine?" I asked.
"Oh, come on." Haku lead me to one of the rooms.
"This is your room, if you don't mind." I shook my head.
I opened the door to see a brown carpet covering the floor, a white bed with black, blue, and grey bedding, a brown desk, with writing room and computer space, and a black dresser.
"Wow." I said quietly.
"Yep, my room's like that too. I'm guessing you'd like to get unpacked, I better as well." He said pushing me into the room.
I glanced back and he smiled.
"If you need my help with anything, come get me." He said before closing the door.
"Yep." I said after the door closed.
I set the bags in my hands down on the floor and the bag around my neck on the bed. I unzipped the bag on the bed and pulled out my laptop. I put it on the desk. Unpacking passed by quicker than I thought.
I opened my door and stepped into the kitchen.
"It's so white." I told myself.
I walked up to the counters and ran my hand on them. They were smooth, no stains, stickiness, and I wanted it to stay that way. I guess being fancy for my dad kinda grew on me.
I heard a door open from behind me; I quickly turned to see Haku just exiting his room.
He looked at me then smiled.
