The next day was a rainy Sunday.
I stayed inside the dorm for a while, until Haku asked if we were going to see the school, and learn where to go, and know classes.
"Uh, right. We can do that now!" I said standing from the table.
Haku had a bandage wrapped around his right wrist, where his father broke it.
"Hurts today?" I asked.
Haku glanced down at his wrist.
"A bit, not much though, just want to make sure it's doesn't hurt for the rest of the day." He told me.
"Oh, okay!" I grabbed a bag and put some stuff in it.
"So, we are to explore the school grounds, but not to go out into the rain?" Haku asked.
I nodded.
"We don't need to get wet." I said.
Haku smiled.
"Alrighty!" He opened the front door and let me through.
"Thanks Haku." I thanked him.
"Welcome!" He said closing the door behind himself.
I pulled out a flyer of the school.
"Okay, so we are on the seventh floor, and our classes are on the first, second and eighth." I said unfolding the flyer to see all of the school grounds.
"We can visit the eighth floor. It's just above of us!" Haku said pointing to the ceiling.
I nodded.
"Okay!"
We both walked to the elevator and got in. I pushed the blue button that showed the number 8.
The doors started to close, but a girl with long black hair, long black pants, and grey sweater stopped the door.
"Sorry, you guys heading to eighth floor?" She asked us.
I nodded.
"Great, can I tag along?" She asked.
"Sure." I said.
She stepped in and the doors closed.
"Which classes?" She asked.
I noticed Haku was starting to hide his bandaged wrist.
"We both have science, history, and art on eighth, and math, and English on second."
"French and music on first floor, and health outside" Haku added quietly.
"Really? Me too! I'm Mimi." She said handing her hand out.
I shook her hand.
"Nixon." I said.
"Cool name! Mimi." She said handing her hand out towards Haku.
Haku glanced down, then at me.
"I'm Haku."
He shook her hand with his left hand.
"So we are all in the same classes. Cool!" She said now facing the doors which had opened.
"Well, I have to meet my friends in class room 5, see ya around, Nixon, Haku." She said running out of the elevator.
"She was nice." Haku nodded.
"Anyway," I grabbed his left hand and dragged him out of the elevator. "Which room was art?' I asked.
"Um, I think room 3."
"Okay! Come on!" I continued to drag Haku.
